South Central Farmers’ Tianguis and Centro Open House Sunday
South Central Farmers continue to move forward in pushing their mission statement of providing access to high quality, high nutritious produce and vegetables in South Central Los Angeles. While the politicians fail to address the growing trend of childhood obesity, cardio-vascular diseases in our community the SCF continue to push for local solutions through direct intervention with education and access.
South Central Farmers’ Tianguis and Centro Open House Sunday.

When: Sunday December 3rd
Time: 11am-5pm
Where: 41st and Long Beach (
close to Vernon Blue Line Station, just head north on Long Beach)

There will be Music, food, Healthy Eating demonstrations, jewelry, art and more Fresh produce will be available.

Join us for a mini-art exhibit with Fernando and open house at the South Central Farmers Centro located near the corner of 41st and Long Beach (1702 E. 41st, Los Angeles, CA 90058). A special one day exhibition of artistic visuals inspired by the Farm for our own inspiration will be on display.
The artists and filmmakers include: Maritza Alvarez, Gina Aparicio, Fernando Flores, Ross Guidici, Edgar Ibarria, Michael Kuehnert, Claudia A. Mercado, Dalila Mendez, Raoul De La Sota

We will also be accepting donations to help Mikey, a July 5th Arrestee, offset his court fees.
