Four of California's leading national Democrats, Senators Feinstein and Boxer; and Congressional leaders Henry Waxman and Jane Harmon, are refusing to denounce or comment on Bush's plan to launch new attacks on Iran beginning Oct 21.

Four of California's leading national Democrats; Senator Dianne Feinstein, Senator Barbara Boxer, South Bay Congresswoman Jane Harmon, and LA Congressman Henry Waxman are refusing to comment on global press reports of the massive unprecedented US and NATO buildup in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf --that will be ready to strike Iran and launch a nuclear war as early as Oct 21.

When asked directly to respond to last week's national public forum led by Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich and war planner Air Force Colonel (Ret) Sam Gardiner, all four California congresspeople who are often labeled “liberal” refused to express any questions or concerns whatsoever about the coming weeks --or make any public statements at all about Bush's current plans to launch “Shock and Awe” massive bombing on Iran --or the strike force that will be there ready for an immediate attack, starting on Oct 21.

None of these Democrats have spoken out against going to war with Iraq.

On Thursday Oct 11, following the Kucinich hearings, all four Democrats' press offices were emailed with questions for this laindymedia report regarding the hearings, press reports, and Bush's war plans; and asked to respond by Friday evening. None responded.

Even as Kucinich and several others, including Gardiner, and the former US weapons inspector David Kay, who resigned from the Bush Administration for its lies on WMD, and John Joseph Cirincione, one of America's leading nuclear treaty experts attempted to expose the dangers of this war, Bush was also at the UN declaring the US right to unilaterally attack Iraq.

Stated Kucinich:

"It would be the view of this member of Congress that this president would not have the ability to unilaterally order an attack, while we understand with the War Powers Act if he does order an attack anyway he still has to come back to Congress, but I think in this case given the gravity of it he would have to go to Congress first," he said.

Nevertheless, the nuclear attack on the reactor is part of the plan that Gardiner says he himself helped draw up. At the time of it's creation, Colonel Gardiner was already convinced that the unprecedented bombing of the fully functioning reactor the America was inevitable by 2007 at the latest. Recent reports in the Israeli press also already have Israeli government officials saying that the reactor must be bombed. In addition to Kucinich's national hearings, reports in The Nation magazine, detailed reports in the Canadian press, and comprehensive outlines of NATO's unprecedented ship deployments around the Strait of Hormuz on the Arab newsite Aljazeera have additionally announced Bush's war plans for months; and recent internet reports now also outline a scenario where Bush or Israel launches “preemptive war” with the attack on Iran's reactor –or uses a pretext encounter with an Iranian submarine, or lays underwater mines off the Iranian coast to goad the Iranian military to fire their missiles defensively on the unprecedented fleet of warships now a deploying on their coasts. Others say that a Hezbolla attack on Israel will be blamed on Iran as the pretext.

The belief is that another 9-11 type incident of some sort --shocking the American public --is now demanded in order to push Iraq weary Americans into expanding the war on Iran. Others point out that in order to fight such a war, that there is no illusions among military planners anymore that a nationwide American military draft is required in order go to war with Iran. All four of these leading California Democrats contacted for this report also refused to comment on a military draft in connection to the attack. Iran currently has over 800,000 troops.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, recently concluded Ramadan with a speech in which he carried a AK 47 rifle. Two weeks ago, 135 global leaders, including former President Jimmy Carter, Former British Prime Minister John Major, Former Nobel Prize winner Desmond Tutu and others from around the world said that what was needed was a forceful and dramatic breakthrough on negotiations between Israel and Palestine to realistically stop the buildup to immediate war.

All four of the California Democrats refused to even comment on these leader's call.
