O'Really, O'Reilly?? Pics of Protest

Fox New's Bill O'Reilly came to the Richard Nixon Library to promote his new book...uh...I FORGET the name, Bill...(o:

Eight protestors representing OC Code Pink, Military Families Speak Out, the Orange County Peace Coalition, and Vietnam Veteran's for Peace greeted paid ticket holders ( bucks a pop) with our signs of protest.

Some attendees returned our greetings with a very original middle-finger salute. Others politely waved. A few gave us thumbs up. Police were abundant at O'Reilly's book signing. They treated us with respect....very cool!

O'Reilly arrived via helicopter and was shuttled in the back way of the Richard Nixon Library for his book signing. We never caught a glimpse of him, but we suspect that he was very much aware of our presence on the public sidewalk across the lawn from all of the Conservative Orange County action!

This was a waaaaaay cool protest.

Pat Buchanan will be coming to the Nixon Library on October 23. We're planning to be there to greet him with our warm Orange County peace activists' welcome! Won't you join us???
