Caller reports from the scene at La Cienega and Century Blvd. There is also another protest site west of there. LAPD has five buses waiting for protestors to be taken away. Three of hte buses are full and 35 people remain lying in the street. So far the protest has been extremely civil -- the protestors are cooperating with the police, getting up and walking to the buses when told. Among those arrested are Assemblyman Paul Kortez (D-West Hollywood), and State Senator Gilbert Cedillo (D-Los Angeles). Two people have been cited with Disorderly Conduct. In addition to those being arrested in Civil Disobedience actions, about 400 supporters are chanting from the sidewalks.
