CWLA Update: Court Support for Defenders of the Farm and CWLA Website

Tuesday September 5th at 8:30am is the court date for on of the arrestees

from the bulldozer action at the South Central Farm, 16 year old Michael

Tzintzun. The police brutality that he was victim to on that day was

witnessed by many people, the charges he is facing are outrageous trumped

up charges which seeks to criminalize and railroad these working class

youth of color.

The trial will be held at 1601 Eastlake Ave (1 block behind the general

hospital). People would not be allowed inside the courtroom becaue he's a

juvenile but they can show up in support of him in the hallway.



We also want to post all of the 10 arrestees from the bulldozer action.

We didn't do this before because we didn't have all of the information

until now, and because we are supporting the 3 members of Cop Watch Los

Angeles who are facing the worst charges out of the 10 which are Yolanda

Carlin, Michael Tzintzun and Martha Escudero. They want to fight their

cases and take a principled stand they are being put on trial for

defending the farm. We are prioritizing them because of the nature of the

charges, why they are being put on trial, and because our experience with

the (in)justice system has showed us that if you're young working class

and of color this system will try to railroad you into the prison

industrial complex. At the same time, we want to have some real

solidarity with all the other arrestees,

if people want support they can always contact Cop Watch and the Youth

Justice Coalition, we don't get involved in people's cases unless they ask

us to help -- we'll support people with whatever resources we can provide

them.

resisting arrest and 1 count of misdemeanor vandalism.

Sarah Sage - 1 count of misdemeanor vandalism and misdemeanor trespassing.

Steven Murphy - 4 counts of trespassing, 3 counts of resisting arrest, 1

count of misdemeanor destruction of property and 1 count of resisting

arrest.

Luigi Petrigh - 1 count of misdemeanor vandalism and 1 count of

misdemeanor trespassing.

Robert Fofrich - 2 counts of misdemeanor vandalism and 1 count of

trespassing. Jesus, Fonseca - 1 count of misdemeanor trespassing.

Yolanda Carlin - 1 count of misdemeanor vandalism, 2 counts of trespassing

and 1 felony count of assault on a police officer (for allegedly throwing

a milk crate at a cop).

Cop Watch Los Angeles Website Update

We've added a Cop Watch Data Base to our website

www.copwatchla.org

The Cop Watch Data Base will be accessible to everyone. It will hold and

can store information, profiles, pictures, audio, and video on Police,

Sheriffs, SWAT's, Fed's, High Way Patrol, Rent-A-Cops, DEA, ATF, CIA, INS,

NSA, ICE, snitches, undercovers, informants, prosecutors, judges,

probation officers, and correctional officers.

This will help us in building this movement to bring down the entire

police state. When we say Cop Watch we mean Law Enforcement Watch.

Profiles and Reports can be added onto the Data Base by the editor after

the report is reviewed.
