Baldwin Park 3 will be a reality. SOS alone with factions of the minutemen, in a secret meeting, have decided to return to Baldwin Park. The Date is tentatively set for September 3rd, 2006 from 9 AM until 1 PM. Jim Gilchrist of the minutemen is expected to be there along with a few other local/vocal activists against the illegal alien invasion of America.

The permit with the city of Baldwin Park has been applied for.

SOS has to be insane to go back to Baldwin Park. They may get more people on their side with Gilchrist bringing his people. But this protest will accomplish absolutely NOTHING for them. It won't do anything. What's the point. A little bit of news coverage if any and costing the city some money?

On a side note, Ray Herrera is just about praised as a hero on the SOS forums for being hit by a vehicle. Thing is, I have footage of him from last December, or was it January, sometime around there, of him crossing the street a lot. You know when Gilchrist claimed that I was running through the street in Costa Mesa, being a danger to myself? Well that's what I have footage or Ray doing. Not saying this behavior is the same impulse that may have gotten him hurt this time. But maybe.

I'm hoping no one gets hurt. The SOS/MM crowd are really asking for it though and for their sake I would hope they come to their senses. It gets even worse. I mentioned before that the Muslim/Islamic religion was verbally under fire in the Gilchrist campaign. Well I got the new CCIR newsletter today and there's a bit in there criticizing the religion, citing the bombings in London and a couple of photos of protest signs. As if that accounts for a significant portion of the Muslim/Islamic population in the world or anywhere. I've never heard of any Muslim or Islamic participants in the SOS or Minuteman efforts. But if there are, they may have alienated them right there. Best way to fit in the SOS/MM crowd is to be a conservative pro-life Christian who is strongly against Islam and being gay.

Maybe he means SOS being massively overwelmed and outnumbered by their opposition.

SOS is already joking publicly about setting people up to go to Baldiwn Park and not showing up.

"I'm sure it would be unethical and no one here would go for such a guerilla tactic.
But I sure would be laughing if Baldwin Park thought SOS was coming back, and everyone showed up except WHOOPS no SOS.
