(3) Aspartame artificial sweetener

I. The Face of Frankenstein's Monster

Genetic Engineering Biotechnology (GE, GM, GMOs) evades Evolution's safeguards by injecting genes of one species into a totally unrelated species, something impossible in Nature.

GM evades Evolution's safeguards, and may therefore give rise to PATHOGENS that can -- and HAVE, many times -- caused crippling and deadly DISEASE EPIDEMICS -- documented but unpublicised.

Genetic Engineering is also ideal for developing horrific biological and other military weapons --- sufficient cause to OUTLAW GM.

The Greatest Racket in History (Listen to this !): ---

GM contamination is virulent, spread by wind, bird, insect, animals and travelling human beings. Co-Existence with GM is completely impossible, only fools or liars would say differently.

GM has contaminated crops in areas of North America which dwarf the UK and even Western Europe.   Planetary contamination is inevitable, if We don't stop it.

The Biotechnology corporations know oh-so-well how contamination spreads and spreads and spreads.

Now get this:   Through their political influence, these Corporations have been able to acquire the obscene, sacrilegious, and indeed revolutionary PATENTS on LIFE-FORMS.

Before these revolutionary Patents on Life, a farmer could have sued -- successfully without any doubt -- the Biotechnology corporation for having contaminated, poisoned his crops.

However, given these Patents on Life (here, on the seeds), the Corporation can -- and DOES, successfully -- sue the victimised farmer for (Hold your nose) "infringement of patent".

[Our tainted, corrupted political systems allow this monstrosity.]

Thus the formula the reader might keep in mind:
GM Contamination + Patents on Life-Forms equals Corporate Ownership Rights in the crops of victimised farmers.

This formula spells the serfdom and ruin of all small family farmers on this planet. (They are the majority of the population in Asia, Africa, and Latin America).

The Chemical-Drug-Biotechnology syndicate and its Enforcers (corrupted governments in the West and Third World, corporation-dominated organisations like the WTO, World Bank, IMF) have started a WORLDWIDE AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION.

They want to destroy small family farming, and have only gigantic Corporate GM Plantations with farmers working as serfs.

[This process is underway, especially in South America where the U.S. Military has begun to intervene on behalf of GM Plantations to crush farmer opposition.]

Already, according to the Research Foundation for Science, Technology and Ecology (RFSTE) in New Delhi, 40,000 farmers in India have committed suicide primarily as a result of the Corporate Enforcers' so-called "free trade" policies --- dumping heavily-subsidised Western farm produce onto glutted Indian markets, pushing GM crops, insisting that Patents on Life-Forms be accepted so farmers must sign contracts with GM Corporations and can no longer save seeds, etc.

The Greatest Racket in History --- GM Contamination + Patents on Life-Forms equals Corporate Proprietary Rights in the crops of victimised farmers, and spells the serdom and ruin of small family farmers everywhere on this planet.

We MUST OUTLAW GM and PATENTS on LIFE-FORMS -- or else !!
(e.g. No more organic, healthy food --- you and your children will only be able to eat unsafe GM)

II.   GMO Disease Epidemics: ASPARTAME artificial sweetener

This artificial sweetener bears no resemblance to 'saccharin' and 'sucaryl'. A well-known carcinogenic neurotoxin, Aspartame has been linked to cancer, paralysis, blindness, diabetes, cardiac arrest, not to mention death.

In the United States, where the New Mexico legislature is currently discussing a proposal to ban Aspartame, the neurotoxin is found in 6,000 products consumed by 70% of Americans.

A bill to ban aspartame is currently in the British Parliament also, sponsored by Roger Williams MP.

In this sordid age of the crudest Money Politics, to have a legislature go so far as to consider banning a tremendous moneymaker, well, that product must be a science fiction-like horror. And Aspartame evidently IS.

The first paragraph may have given a somewhat jolting introduction to the subject.
Let's elaborate a bit.

U.S. Government FDA (Food and Drug Administration) scientists stood steadfast over the years against approving Aspartame for the market. It was only the roughest political pull and Money Politics that got this Monsanto product through.

The following is the virtual list released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services back in 1994 of over 92 disease symptoms associated with Aspartame consumption (and it's still on the market in 2006 !!).

Note: the reader might be on the lookout for things like "seizures" and "death" -- they can get lost in such a list as we now put forward.
Here we go, in alphabetical order:

abdominal pain, anxiety attacks, arthritis, asthma, bloating (edema, fluid retention), blood sugar control problems (hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia), brain cancer (pre-approval study in animals), breathing diifficulties, burning eyes or throat, burning urination (that might well piss anybody off), chest pains, chronic cough, Chronic Fatigue, confusion and inability to think straight,   death,   depression, diarrhea, dizziness, excessive thirst or hunger, fatigue, feelings of unreality, flushing of face, hair loss (thinning of hair or baldness), headaches,   hearing loss ..............

(Let's take a breather. Imagine what a list like this could do for a hypochondriac !   OK, we continue.)

heart palpitations,   high blood pressure, hives, impotency and sexual problems, inability to concentrate,   infection susceptibility, insomnia, itching, joint pains, laryngitis, memory loss, menstrual problems or changes, muscle spasms, nausea or vomiting, numbness or tingling of extremities, panic attacks, rapid heartbeat, rashes, seizures and convulsions, slurring of speech,   swallowing pain, tremors, tinnitis (ringing in the ears), vision loss, and weight gain.

Yes, Aspartame is still on the market !!

That list was published in February, 1994. Since then, much more evidence has arrived damning Aspartame. Most recently, a study accepted for publication by the peer-reviewed journal Environmental Health Perspectives (EHP) of the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services (published November 2005), states that Aspartame is a "multipotential carcinogenic [i.e. can cause Cancer] compound".

SO, this "multipotential carcinogenic compound" is found in more than 6,000 products, and CANCER is a world-class killer. Can anyone see a connection?

Note that this disease-fomenting artificial sweetener infests carbonated and powdered soft drinks, hot chocolate, chewing gum, CANDY, DESSERTS, yogurt and tabletop sweeteners as well as some pharmaceutical products like vitamins and sugar-free cough drops.

More than 200 million people worldwide consume it. Any wonder that Disease, Hospitalisation and Cancer are growth industies when stuff like this pervades our supermarkets?

Question: Why can Aspartame do what no other artificial sweetener could conceivably dream of doing in a million years?

Answer: Because it is GENETICALLY ENGINEERED.

Comment:   Although genetically engineered, Aspartame still seems to accomplish horrors above-and-beyond the call of normal duty for GMOs.   Why?

Of course, people consume a lot of it over time, and are subject to the cumulative effect (as with synthetic chemicals and radiation).
The so-called "daily allowable intake" was always a pseudo-scientific lie, corporate propaganda blathered by a bought political system and pay-for-hire 'scientists'.

Additionally, I would say that one basic reason is Aspartame's appearing primarily in processed foods. PROCESSED foods.

You see, the genetic engineering process is always liable to fabricate disease-inducing PATHOGENS. And, independent of the Aspartame, all (non-organic) processed foods (I can no longer find an exception) contain at least one GMO, and often more than one.

Then genetically-engineered Aspartame enters what is already a potentially bad compound, and you can get the dreaded "cocktail" effect of poison interacting with other poisons.

Be that as it may, one conclusion ought to be obvious enough concerning Aspartame and all genetically-engineered things--- We ban Them, or They ban Us !

Note: By the way, people report that after they spotted the problem, and eliminated this GM artificial sweetener from their diet, they de-toxified and indeed got better.   Victims of genetically-engineered insulin reported the same.

[AND signal mention must be made of the tireless and courageous efforts of Dr. Betty Martini via lecturing and writing and lobbying. This campaigning doctor is not an MD, and definitely not one of the legion of medical doctors who habitually ignore public health while busy counting their money.

Yet I must add that she has been silent about or downplayed the fact that Aspartame is genetically engineered, in my view badly damaging her own cause, and certainly failing to assist anti-GMO campaigning.

Speculation: She has been the victim of what appears to be a combined Monsanto-Government cabal against her, and soft-pedaling the GMO connection may have been the price she paid to lead a hectic yet still liveable existence.
On the other hand, perhaps she simply feels that stressing the GMO connection is not good strategy.
She refuses to answer me, so I kinda feel the former explanation rings true.]

III. Conclusion and What To Do

Human beings and Nature, as we have known them, cannot survive in a GMO-Frankenstein world.

The nightmare technology of Genetic Engineering Biotechnology, and its incestuous Patents on Life-Forms, must be OUTLAWED.

How To Do It?

There is only one way to overcome this extremely powerful, ruthless Corporation-Government-corporate Mass Media axis.

It is to conduct grassroots Public Education Campaigns to educate and politically activate the General Public, university / college students in particular.

The General Public !!   Stop forever talking to the Converted. To get around the corporate media's suppression and distortion of truth, one must talk to people and go door-to-door with leaflets and vocal messages.
And major efforts must be made to inform and activate university students.

Important Hints:

(1) Concentrate on university students.

And senior citizens.

I speak to you now, elder citizens like myself.    Put moral purpose into your lives and help rescue this planet and your grandchildren.

(2) AVOID NGOs and all established organisations, especially large ones. They are not what they seem.

Their hierarchies and decision-making are corporation-influenced if not outright purchased.

Never ever join them. Never ever give them Money.

[Note: In developing countries there are some exceptions, but very very very few in the West. If by a miracle one of them ever conducts a genuine and sensible public education campaign, then you can help out. But NEVER join or give money to them.]

The environmental field especially is riddled with wealthy, prestigious, deceptive organisations adept at dilutng and derailing environmental causes, GM in particular.

[I am thinking at this moment of one such organisation I have observed over a long period of time, in my view a very slick and dangerous FOE of environmentalism, originally created by polluting Corporations to deal with the growing environmental movement.
Don't go anywhere near this one.]

When they talk about being 'practical' and seeking 'Coexistence' with GM, let a red flag go up.

Nothing short of OUTLAWING GENETIC ENGINEERING and PATENTS ON LIFE-FORMS will save us and our planet.

Do your educational work as individuals or in small groups of people you know.

In a little of your SPARETIME (perhaps 3 or 4 hours a week, but regularly, as part of an ethical life-style):

Educate and activate the Public by writing and telephoning and just talking to your family members, friends and acquantances;

Write letters and make telephone calls to local, regional and national media;

Write, call and especially visit your legislative representatives and other government personnel, and

Take appropriate Direct Action.
