PETITION TO STOP THE LOTTERY ON VENICE BEACH BOARDWALK
First Amendment Rights are under attack by the City of Los Angeles in Venice Beach, California. Spirit of Venice artist/activists are standing up for Free Speech by resisting the PERMIT/LOTTERY SYSTEM imposed on them by the City, in what has traditionally been a First-Come-First-Served-First-Amendment-Protected FREE SPEECH ZONE, on the westside of Venice Boardwalk.

Why save Free Speech on the beach (and in all US parks) ?

If we give up Free Speech in any public area (protected by the 1st Amendment) and allow the city to enforce regulations on our Free Speech in those areas - then we lose those rights and can never take them back!
