Multi-Party Progressive Slate for California

by Individuals for Multi-Party Democracy Tuesday, Jun. 13, 2006 at 9:21 AM

The Green Party and California Peace and Freedom Parties have each fielded a full slate of candidates for statewide office in the Nov. 2006 General Election. Following is a list that should be considered in the interest of building a true multi-party democracy.

The Green Party and California Peace and Freedom Parties have each fielded a full slate of candidates for statewide office in the Nov. 2006 General Election. Following is a list that should be considered in the interest of building a true multi-party democracy.

A vote for the P&F and Green candidates will insure that the parties remain on the ballot, and hopefully get their acts together to run more candidates for state legislature and congress. Each needs to win 2 percent in one contest to retain official ballot status.

US Senate, Todd Chretien, Green Party http://www.todd4senate.org

Lt Gov - Stewart Alexander, P&F http://www.salt-g.com/

Conroller - Laura Wells, Green http://www.laurawells.org/

Treasurer - Gerald Sanders, P&F http://www.geraldsanders.org/

Sec of State - Forrest Hill, Green http://www.voteforrest.org/

Attorney General - Jack Harrison, P&F http://www.jackharrison.org/

Insurance Commissioner - Tom Condit, P&F http://www.tomcondit.org/

Gov - no recommendation, or cast an anti-Arnold vote for Phil Angelides

caveats / disclaimers:
Democrats will urge us to stop billionaire Republican Steve Poizner and vote for the incompetent buffoon Cruz Bustamante for Insurance Commissioner.

Sec. of State candidate Debra Bowen (Dem) seems pretty decent and may be supportable to defeat incumbent Bruce McPherson.

While there may be some dangerous fascist Republicans running and the Democrats will claim they are better, just what, exactly, have any of the termed out hacks running for each other's seat in Sacramento done for us lately?

More women, please!

what about Donna Warren (G) for Lt. Gov or Margie Aiken (PF) for Sec. of State?
