MONDAY May 29th - 9:15 am: Joan Baez will return to the farm today. There is a press conference today at 11:00 am
Also Maxine Waters is expected to address the press conference on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
All is calm at the farm at this time. The threat of a surprise raid by sheriffs is thought to be diminishing. Negotiations to save the farm are said to be ongoing.

I just want to say that I am proud of those that are taking their time and effort to go out and support such an important piece of our life. This farm is for our community, for us. If we lose this battle and it gets taken away we will not be for ourselves no longer, we will be fully depending on wharehouses and stores, which by the way don't give a crap about us and sells us bad quality food for them to make a quick dollar. Please, if possible, let me know what I can do and where you are located so I can contribute my help. I am unable to provide money but I really would love to help save this farm. I want you to win, not them.

I'm not a Farm organizer, but I am a Farm supporter. The organizers are really busy (obviously), so I'm taking the time and the presumption to answer--GO TO THE FARM!
There's work to be done during the day--cooking, cleaning, security, media, running errands. Take some time to walk around and watch the food grow. There's vigiling at night, every night 7:00 p.m. And those vigils are both a strong statement of community support, and support for the people staying on the Farm.
The daily operations are mostly women-run. It's comfortable, the humblest work is the most respected, and everyone's welcoming.
