6:30-8:00 am en el Consulado Mexicano (Monday to Saturday) 12:00pm - Walmart 17150 e. Gale Ave, La Puente (Sunday)

Hi Everyone,

Because we are in total agreement with the suggestion made by Marcos and the decision of the commission in charge of carrying out the sixth declaration we will have continuous presence at the Mexican Consulate (located on the corner of 6th and Park Pl.) from 6:00 am to 8:00am from today until they release all the prisoners. We understand that this is a great sacrifice for you but this critical juncture in the development of a national grassroots movement in Mexico requires it. We will take turns so that we can get this done before folks have to go to work. The situation in Atenco and throughout Mexico is very serious. The Mexican political class had intentions of breaking Atenco and by that breaking the back of the Other Campaign...the campaign to develop a grassroots movement and agenda. The intent to destroy the movement was clearly manifested in the terror, sexual violations and abuses, beatings and torture which for sure can be found in U.S. military counter insurgency manuals since the militarization of these swat teams were in part the result of Giuliani’s work as a consultant of Lopez Obrador. But it will be very difficult to break the movement’s resolve, in fact what they seemed to have accomplished is the opposite; we have united more. This attack has prompted us to create more ties to further develop the network not only in Mexico but throughout the world.

Like the people from Atenco say "NEVER MORE AN ISOLATED STRUGGLE".
