March 19th will mark the third anniversary of a war that never should have happened -- a war based on lies that continues to devastate the lives of thousands, both in Iraq and the United States.

United for Peace and Justice joins our partners in the global antiwar movement in calling for a massive outpouring of opposition to the war in Iraq. We are urging opponents of the war to organize a wide array of events in their hometowns for the entire week surrounding this anniversary.

NOT ONE PENNY MORE FOR WAR

Immediate Action Needed
As we approach the 3rd anniversary of the war and occupation in Iraq, President Bush has asked Congress for another billion for his immoral war. Congress has the power to cut off the money for the war and bring the troops safely home.

Congress will soon decide whether to keep giving Bush all the money he wants to continue the violence, or they can cut him off and end the war. Members of Congress are afraid to vote to take a stand -- they need to hear from their constituents, so pick up the phone and give them a call today.

Call your representatives and senators at 888-355-3588 (or 202-224-3121) and tell them: Not one more penny for war! And be sure to raise the demand to cut off funds in your 3rd anniversary activities! >> Read More
