Weekend Outreach & Work Sessions to Build March 18

Leaflet, Poster, Paint Banners & Make Phone Calls

Sat/Sun, March 11/12, 12 noon to 4 pm

Meet at the A.N.S.W.E.R. Office: 1800 Argyle Ave, #410, LA 90028

This is the last weekend to spread the word about the mass anti-war protest on March 18 to "Stop the War in Iraq - Bring the Troops Home Now" and "Fund Peoples Needs, Not the War Machine!" Go out on leafleting and postering teams with other volunteers, help paint banners or make phone calls. If you would like to flyer at some other time, download flyers by clicking here.

On Saturday we'll leaflet, poster, make phone calls and paint banners. On Sunday we'll leaflet, paint banners and make phone calls. If it rains, come to the office, there's plenty to do both inside and outside before March 18.

You can still get involved in the people's mobilization against the war this weekend. Bring your energy and ideas and donate your weekend, a day or even a few hours to the anti-war cause. The more people who help build March 18 the bigger it will be!

Join us at Tuesday's A.N.S.W.E.R. Activists Meeting. It's the final meeting before the massive March 18 anti-war demonstration. It's not too late to get involved!

* March 18 Logistics & Volunteer Orientation: Hear a rundown of what will happen on the day of the March 18 protest in Los Angeles, from the beginning to the end of the day. * Youth & Student Update: Join the Youth & Student contingent on March 18. Find out about the upcoming March 20 Day of Campus Resistance to Imperialism.

* Work Session: There is a tremendous amount of work to do to get ready for the march. We will have a work session to paint banners, make signs, make phone calls and more.

* Report on Iraq: The Iraq war is going badly for the U.S. occupiers. More than 2,200 U.S. soldiers have died, along with more than 100,000 Iraqis. Now, the U.S. government and its corporate media allies are proclaiming that Iraq is falling into "civil war." This tactic only benefits the imperialist occupiers. We'll give the real story behind what's happening in Iraq.
