CAT equipment is sold to Israel under the US Foreign Military Sales

Program. It is illegal for US-purchased equipment to be used to

violate human rights, yet CAT continues to sell bulldozers to Israel.

They are used to destroy Palestinian homes, agricultural land, and

aide in the construction of illegal settlements and the erection of an

illegal separation wall on Palestinian land. Since 1967, the Israeli

army has used CAT equipment to destroy over 12,000 homes in the West

Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem.

March 16, 2006 is the three year anniversary of the death of Rachel

Corrie. Rachel was a 23 year-old U.S. peace activist who was killed

by an Israel Defense Forces Caterpillar bulldozer while trying to

prevent the demolition of a Palestinian home in the Gaza Strip.

I-Witness Palestine is a Southern California based group working in

solidarity with the Palestinian people through education, action and

supporting people traveling to Palestine to witness the conflict for

themselves.
