All pro-worker, pro-human rights activists are encouraged to come to the event on Saturday, January 21 to oppose the scape-goating, knee-jerk xenophobes Save Our State. Counter-protesters will be assembling at the Home Depot location in Burbank at 7am. The address is: 1125 South Flower St., Burbank, CA.
SOS made two appearances in nearby Glendale (1/7/06 and 12/10/05). And it is rumored that they made a third appearance there as well as on in Burbank in recently.
In December SOS was outnumbered by a ratio of approximately 150 to 20 and in January they were outnumbered about 120-10.
At the December event the SOS mini Fuhrer himself, Ventura’s Joe Turner was arrested after instigating a pushing incident with three anti-racism activists in full view of several Glendale police officers forcing him to leave the protest shortly after it began and leaving his crew flailing and leaderless.
SOS is picking up steam in both their tactics and their language as members are openly discussing implementing actions involving the kidnapping of day laborers.
A known SOS activists posts the following in regards to the kidnapping plans: “I have observed day labor sites, and it made me wonder, if anyone notices, if/when the jornalero comes back to the same place. The jornaleros, get in strange vehicles, expecting to go someplace, to work. The driver takes them to a location.”

We are once again taking our fight to the Black Gate of Mordor, aka the doorsteps of Home Depot.
Home Depot proudly supports racist, anti-American organizations and criminally violates federal laws prohibiting the aiding and abetting of illegal aliens through their sponsorship and funding of day labor centers throughout the country.
In Burbank, amid huge controversy and negative media attention, Home Depot, in full complicity with the City Council of Burbank, has opened and established a brand spanking new ' Temorary Skilled Worker Center', in violation of Federal Immigration Law Statutes. They didn't stop there. Home Depot also agreed to provide $100,000 a year in funding for this day labor center.
In Glendale, Home Depot helped the city establish a day labor center right across the street from its parking lot. In cooperation with the City and Catholic Charities, Home Depot donated materials and supplies and also agreed to fund the staff position. Their total investment appears to be well over $50,000 a year.
Just a few miles away in Cypress Park, Home Depot has allowed CHIRLA to establish a day labor center in their store parking lot.
Studies show that day laborers are overwhelmingly illegal aliens. The city of Burbank admitted such in their discussion of their day labor center. Clearly, Home Depot is aware that these center cater to illegal aliens.
Home Depot has partnered with and donated money to the National Council of La Raza. The National Council of La Raza advocates open borders, amnesty for illegal aliens, drivers' licenses and college tuition discounts for illegal aliens.
Clearly, the National Council of La Raza has an agenda that conflicts with the viewpoint of the majority of Americans.
Even more disconcerting is the fact that La Raza is inextricably linked to the militant and separatist organization, MEChA. MEChA openly calls for the liberation of the southwestern United States and do not discourage the use of violence to achieve these goals.
At the University of California, Riverside, MEChA hosted University of Texas professor Jose Angel Gutierrez. He is the founder of La Raza Unida and once stated:
"We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him."
Imagine if Home Depot partnered with and contributed money to an organization that openly supported a white separatist group? Why do we tolerate this double standard?
We believe the public must be informed and educated about Home Depot's support for illegal immigration. Home Depot must be punished for these anti-American policies and affiliations!
