Bush Accuses Majority of Americans of Treason

by Reason Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006 at 5:34 AM

Bush accuses his opponents of treason. What's next, locking up the Congress?

Bush Accuses Majority of Americans of Treason

Reason

"President Bush warned Democratic critics of his Iraq policy on Tuesday to watch what they say or risk giving "comfort to our adversaries" and suffering at the ballot box in November."

Treason is the only crime defined explicitly in the U.S. Constitution (a document Bush refers to as "just  a piece of paper").  According to Article 3, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

Since George Bush fancies himself King of the United States, believing himself above the law and vested with the power to declare anyone an "enemy combatant" at his whim, we should view this declaration by George Bush as a grave threat upon anyone in opposition to his foolish and illegal war.  Moreover, since Bush clearly believes that anyone adhering to his enemies (read "Muslims") should be watched by the N.S.A. (and their can be no doubt that Bush believes that "Comforting" the enemy is an act of adhering to them), we must conclude that all Democrats and anyone to the left of the Democrats are under illegal surveillance by the N.S.A.

Can there be any doubt that when the Democrats take over the House and Senate in the next elections, that Bush will dissolve the Congress?

here is the plan

by ...Bongo... Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006 at 7:18 AM

The "Terrorist" cells here in the USA like the rightwing fringe groups that throw their sick crap on this wire, will decide to 'take the streets' in order to 'kill the hippies' after the al-CIAduh stage the next required event to lead the military to enforce "Operation Safe" and 'relocate' the 'leftists' on existing watchlists.
And like all good little tree huggers they will meekly file into the shipping containers.
Problem almost solved.

relocate the leftists

by I agree Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006 at 10:01 AM

The leftwing fringe hate groups need to be rounded up. I totally agree, and wonder why the treasonous scum hasn't been already.

At the very least, a few rubber bullets into the next crowd of A.N.S.W.E.R. monkeys would be nice.

Treason?

by Squawls Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006 at 6:24 PM

Aside from the noise from certain corners of the lunatic fringe, what we have here is the mere threat without substance. Any attempt * at this time * to IMPLEMENT a roundup would result in a general national strike or uprising.
Of course, the coming attack on Iran will require a tragic event from al-CIAduh to initiate any such foolishness. That will sure fool us again, this time.

concerned about nukes.

by Dr. Strangeluv Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006 at 8:38 AM

Since we need to justify a nuclear strike in this lunatic clique of pigs, we have running our economic/foriegn policy, we better get ready to witness another al CIAduh attack with 'smuggled' nukes. Less evidence left that way.
As if the NSA - NRO -DIA -CIA, etc etc. ( we paid for it to the hundreds of billions of tax dollars ) didn't know where each and every nuke on earth was.
Any event that in the near future in all likelihood will be another 'London Bombing' perpetrated by our own secret police agencies. Patsies will be produced. And after a media build up for preparation, there will be the iron walls of a full blown police state. And war and war and war.
While our country crumbles into ruin.
