Israel plans demolition of tens of Palestinian homes in Ramle

Dec 14, 2005, 09:22 Occupied Jerusalem - The Zionist government in Tel Aviv has recently sanctioned the demolition of dozens of Palestinian homes in the city of Ramle (occupied in 1948) at the usual excuse of lack of construction permit. Hebrew press quoted the Israeli planning and construction committee as saying that those homes were built a few years ago on agricultural lands. Israeli tractors backed by large numbers of Israeli policemen a few days ago flattened the foundation of a Palestinian home in Al-Teira city in the southern triangle area, occupied in 1948, over the same pretext. Jewish settlers are allowed to construct homes wherever they wish on seized Palestinian lands while the indigenous land owners are deprived of the same privilege.
