Debra J. Saunders, who has followed the case for years, debunks the Tookie sympathizers' mythology:
The whole "redemption" line is a joke. As Williams' former prosecutor Robert Martin once told me, redemption requires an admission of guilt, facing up to what you did and expressing remorse. Williams has done none of the above, yet newspaper editorial pages (including The Chronicle's) and various do-gooders (including some Ninth U.S. Court of Appeals judges) have been pushing for the governor to grant Tookie clemency.
That would turn the whole concept of clemency on its ear.
Let me stipulate: While I support the death penalty, I can respect those who oppose it. But I can't respect those who lionize the most violent thugs as if they are prize sages. My advice to the anti-execution crowd -- and I have no doubt it will be ignored -- is to find some poor schlub who killed in a panic and doesn't belong on death row, and seek clemency for that person.
Don't put a cold-blooded killer on a pedestal. Don't denounce a government killing as barbaric while you laud a cold-blooded thug. And don't ask for clemency for a killer who won't fess up to his crimes.
Williams' co-author, Barbara Becnel, told the Los Angeles Times, "What Stan presents is hope that they, too, can change. He is worth far more to society alive than dead."
Wrong. He is worth more to society dead. The message from the Tookie-philes is that you can kill innocent people and be a star. An execution says you can kill innocent people and pay the price.

so if the trial is suspect with tainted testimony and the defendant in the system that is called justice refuses to confess the crime, he must be guilty. You have no idea what you are saying. Anyone who has investigated the criminal justice system knows that there is no such "justice". All that is known for certain is that murders were committed. Like dunking a witch until confession is achieved. When blood lust runs high and justice is a farce.

That's what I like about white power filth . They're really up front with their mental illness. Can you see this ........ rallying to terminate a white prisoner who was convicted on questionable circumstantial evidence? Tell you what I notice is that the hysteria about this issue seems to be a wantabe feeding frenzy of the usual racist assholes who were egging on this Iraqi war for the same ideology. Maybe we should burn a few Christians to light the way.

Rather than get into a flame war with a retarded child, I would remark that perhaps a bit of german shepherd semen would have improved your pedigree considerably. Unfortunately you grew from a maggot.

I grew up in Altadena, Cal. And there are lots of gangs there. I think that gangs are a reaction of repressed groups of people responding to the asshole police and the shrinking of opportunities in relation to jobs, housing and the strangulation of schools.
Criminalize the individuals who prey on the other victims of this crazy system. But that is only a band aid for the product of other criminals who suck the life out of our society and wear nice suits and can afford good lawyers. They seem to never face a death sentence. The problems are too deep to solve with a needle. It takes mobilization and tactics for cooperation to deal with these injustices. Some people can't think that far into the future. Or don't want to face the facts of repression as it applies to all of us. Much easer to kill and call it a day. That won't do it.

How many times are you going to post these victims as if that will make the trial anything but a show. If this was a white who was on the death wait you wouldn't utter a peep. As if you even care about these people. It's just a sled to carry your hate.

"justice",look at the facts of the case, all these "facts" are circumstantial and none of the physical "facts" point to stan.fingerprints at the crime scenes that werent his and have never been identified,a bloody footprint at the crime scene that wasnt his and was never identified and a shotgun shell which belonged to a gun owned by two other criminals.do you honestly think they should bring back the head chopper, like theres never been an innocent man executed?did you ever hear of david gale?thats how easy it is. youve a lot of hate in you man, maybe you were never loved as a child or something.either way you need to sort out your own demons before dealing with anyone elses.

Don't repeat your posts, particularly graphics. The general policy here is to remove repetitious posts -- if I see the same graphic twice, I reflexively hit "spam". Yes, there's bias in what gets hidden, but it's not like we're out to silence the opposition. There's a lot of different opinions that are up.
Other IMCs are more aggressive about the hiding, and within the federation of sites, LA generally has more flamage and conflict in the comments.
