Representatives from the group tried to meet with Horowitz but were told that he was not in the office. A large number of local activist groups were represented, including but not limited to: The International Action Center, Code Pink, The Green Party, The Progressive Alliance, The Peace and Freedom Party as well as a number of local @ affinity groups from throughout the LA area. I spoke with a member of one local group that came out in support of the farmers. Uploaded here is an mp3 audio file.
This event was the first of a series of planned protests to be held outside the Horowitz offices.
