by FYI Monday, Nov. 21, 2005 at 8:35 PM

Protest Military Recruiters - Sat, Dec 10, 12 noon Youth and students come out against war & military recruiters! Saturday, December 10, 12 noon 5051 Rodeo Road, Los Angeles At the Los Angeles Recruiting Battalion (Just east of La Brea, near MLK Blvd)

download PDF (48.1 kibibytes)

Working class youth, disproportionately from communities of color, are being used by U.S. rulers as cannon fodder in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere to secure profits for banks and corporations. These racist, imperialist wars are not in our interests. On Saturday, December 10, youth, students and anti-war activists of all ages will come together to protest military recruiters at the Los Angeles Recruiting Battalion, the headquarters for Army recruitment in Southern California. Be there with signs and banners to demand that military recruiters get out of our schools and communities immediately!

Stop the War & Occupation of Iraq!

Military Recruiters Out of Our Schools & Communities!

Money for Jobs & Education, Not War!

Protest sponsored by Youth & Student A.N.S.W.E.R.

Call up the DRAFT

by Border Raven Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005 at 2:54 AM

A reduction in voluntary recruiting, will mean the military will see a void in the ranks. To fill the void in the ranks, the Congress will call up the DRAFT.

http://www.sss.gov/

I am for the protests against recruiting, because when the DRAFT, starts up again, all of the weak persons, will run (self-deport) to Canada or Mexico, leaving the true patriots to defend the nation.

'all of the weak persons, will run (self-deport) to Canada or Mexico' and then be extradited back as we now have 'understandings' with these clientele nations.

Ask a soldier...

by anonymous soldier Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005 at 4:25 AM

I love fighting for your right to bash me. Ironic isn't it? You don't seem to have a clue as to what you're talking about so let me enlighten you. People that VOLUNTEER (which happens to be everyone) to join the military are given a job based on qualifications and mental capasity; not race or wealth. Protest recruiting and invite a draft. The recruiters could care less. They dont make a commission. You are barking up the wrong tree.
