التهديدات ضد العراق وسوريا وخيار المقاومة

مع اقتراب نهاية شهر رمضان المبارك، تزداد التهديدات المعادية لخيار المقاومة في العراق وفلسطين وسوريا.

وقد كثفت المقاومة العراقية نشاطاتها وباتت تُسَرّع بالمزيد من النجاح كل يوم حلول الهزيمة الأمريكية النهائية في العراق. وكان الإمبرياليون الأمريكيون والبريطانيون يخططون منذ البداية لتدمير العراق وتجزئته. وما جاءت إقامة حكومة الدمى، على نمط حكومة كرزاي، إلا مقدمة للحرب الأهلية في العراق. وقد أسهم تقرير المقاومة العراقية مثلاً بكشف العمليات السرية للتحالف الأمريكي-البريطاني لإثارة الفتنة الطائفية وإنتاج الحرب الأهلية في العراق. وهي عمليات شريرة في أهدافها وتصنف سرية جداً لأنها تتعلق بزرع المتفجرات في البصرة وبغداد وغيرهما، وتفجير المساجد الشيعية والسنية على حدٍ سواء، لتشويه العمليات الشجاعة للمقاومة العراقية وإظهار تلك المقاومة بصورة إجرامية. فهذه العمليات السرية تسعى لإثارة الحقد الطائفي بين السنة والشيعة تمهيداً للانسحاب الجزئي المرتقب من العراق بعد ترك البلاد أشلاء وترك العراقيين ممزقين، بينما تحافظ أمريكا على سيطرتها على موارد العراق وموقعه الجغرافي-السياسي.

وبينما يقود حزب البعث تسعين بالمئة من المقاومة العراقية، فإن معظم فصائل المقاومة أكدت التزامها عملياً بتصفية المرتزقة والخونة، مثل المنتسبين الجدد للأجهزة الأمنية والعسكرية التي تؤسس تحت الاحتلال. وقد جاء تأسيس مثل هذه الأجهزة، في الواقع، بعد تفكيك أجهزة الدولة العراقية، لتصفية المقاومة ومنع تحرير العراق وقمع الشعب العراقي بعد الانسحاب والهزيمة الأمريكيين في العراق. ولذلك، تستهدف عمليات وحملات التفجير التي تمارسها المقاومة العراقية المتعاونين مع الاحتلال فحسب.



وقد حذرت المقاومة العراقية كل المشاركين باضطهاد الرئيس صدام حسين بأنهم لن يعفى عنهم، وبأن عليهم أن يعرفوا أن المحتلين الأمريكيين لن يتمكنوا من حمايتهم. وإذ يقوم الرئيس صدام حسين بمواجهة واضطهاد من يضطهدونه، تكثف المقاومة العراقية عملياتها بوحي مثاله في نكران الذات. ونحيي في هذه المناسبة الموقف المقاوم الشجاع للرئيس صدام حسين في ظهوره الأخير في المحكمة.

على الجبهة السورية، جاء تقرير ميليس الأخير خالياً من أية دلائل قانونية أو جنائية تدين سوريا في عملية اغتيال الحريري. بالرغم من ذلك، ها هو التقرير يستخدم من الإمبرياليين الأمريكيين وأعوانهم لاستهداف سوريا في حملة دعائية خبيثة لتهيئة المسرح لإمكانية مهاجمتها واحتلالها، بالتحديد أكثر، لتهيئة المسرح لعملية "تغيير النظام" في سوريا.

وقد خرج مئات آلاف السوريين مؤخراً لشوارع المدن السورية احتجاجاً على تقرير ميليس السخيف والمتحيز. وكان من المصادر التي اعتمد عليها التقرير اسم زهير صديق، وهو سوري مدان بالنصب عاش فترة في لبنان، من أجل اتهام الدولة السورية بالتورط في اغتيال رفيق الحريري.

فتقرير ميليس ليس إلا حملة دعائية قذرة لتحريض الرأي العام ضد الدولة السورية استعداداً لما يمكن أن يتحول إلى عدوان على واحتلال لسوريا. ومن الغريب أن أمريكا لم تهتم كثيراًٍ باغتيال إيلي حبيقة، المخرج اللبناني لمذابح صبرا وشاتيلا عام 1982، الذي قتله شارون وعملاء الموساد بعد أن أصبح شاهداً أساسياً في قضية قضائية ضد شارون. ومن الغريب أيضاً أن الحكومة الأمريكية لم تثر ضجةً حول قانون لبناني مرر مؤخراً للعفو عن سمير جعجع الذي كان يقضي حكماً قضائياً بسبب اغتياله لرشيد كرامي، وهو رئيس وزراء سني لبناني أيضاً!

نعتقد أن الخطة الأمريكية تجاه سوريا هي بالأساس تغيير النظام فيها، الأمر الذي يمكن أن يحدث بدون احتلال مباشرة في البداية. وخطة تغيير النظام هذه يمكن أن تنفذ عبر عناصر محلية كمبرادورية وطائفية بعد فرض العقوبات الاقتصادية على البلاد، وبعد تطويق سوريا إقليمياً، في محاولة لإضعاف قبضة القيادة السورية على البلاد.

على المدى القصير جداً، يستهدف تقرير ميليس إذن انتزاع التنازلات من سوريا في الملفات الإقليمية اللبنانية والعراقية والفلسطينية، وفي الملف الداخلي السوري بذريعة "الإصلاح الديموقراطي". وعلى المدى المتوسط، يستهدف تقرير ميليس "تغيير النظام" في البلاد. أما على المدى الطويل، فإن الخطة هي تهيئة المسرح لتفكيك سوريا تماماً كما تمت تهيئة المسرح لتفكيك العراق. وكما في حالة العراق، يتم تنفيذ هذه الخطة لأنها تعبر عن المصلحة الاستراتيجية للصهاينة والإمبرياليين الأمريكيين، وليس بسبب أي أخطاء يمكن أن تكون القيادة العراقية أو السورية قد ارتكبتها أو لم ترتكبها.



ولذلك، على قوى المقاومة في لبنان وفلسطين وسوريا أن تبقى متيقظة، باعتبارها على لائحة استهداف الخطة الأمريكية-الصهيونية، وبسبب تورط "إسرائيل" الخفي، وربما العلني لاحقاً، في الحملة ضد سوريا.

أما الآن، فإننا نعتقد أن أولوية سوريا الأولى يجب أن تكون تحضير مواطنيها لخوض حرب عصابات، لترسل بذلك أيضاً رسالة للإمبرياليين الأمريكيين بأنها ستكون مقبرة للقوات الغازية وحلفائها المحليين.

وبما أن سوريا في هذه المعركة لن يسعها أن تعتمد على دعم القوى العظمى، وما يسمى "الشرعية الدولية"، التي اصبحت بمثابة حجر صغير بيد الحكومة الأمريكية، فإن على سوريا أن تسعى لتحالف أممي حقيقي مع كل القوى المناهضة للإمبريالية في العالم، مثل كوريا الديموقراطية وفنزويلا وكوبا، من أجل الاستعداد للعدوان الأمريكي المحتمل عليها. بيد أن خلاص سوريا لن يأتي من خارجها، أو حتى من أصدقائها المخلصين، بل من استعدادها للدفاع عن نفسها بنفسها. غير أننا نؤكد هنا أن النجاح المستمر وتصاعد المقاومتين العراقية والفلسطينية سوف يقلل إلى حدٍ كبيرٍ من فرص العدوان الأمريكي على سوريا.

إن الخيارين الموضوعين أمام سوريا اليوم أحلاهما مر. فإما خيار الاستسلام على الطريقة الليبية من أجل الحفاظ على وجودها (مؤقتاً)، وإما مواجهة العدوان المحدق لتغيير النظام واستبداله بأخر موالٍ لأمريكا يمكن أن يضمن "أمن إسرائيل" على المدى الأبعد. بيد أن خلاص سوريا، كدولة وكنظام، يعتمد في نهاية الأمر على تمسكها بخيار المقاومة في سوريا وفي السياق العربي. فليس أمام سوريا خيار في الحقيقة إلا الاستعداد للمواجهة المسلحة مع الإمبريالية الأمريكية و"إسرائيل" وعملائهم المحليين، ولهذا ليس أمامها سوى رفض تقديم التنازلات، خاصة بصدد دعمها للمقاومتين الفلسطينية واللبنانية اللتين ستكونان الاحتياطي الاستشهادي الحيوي في مواجهة العدوان الأمريكي المحتمل. وعلى سوريا أن تنتبه في هذا السياق أن توقيت محاكمة الرئيس صدام حسين جاء بالأساس رسالةً لها، فذلك التوقيت لا يمكن فصله عن توقيت تقرير ميليس.

والمهم أن ندرك جميعنا أن الخطة الأمريكية-الصهيونية في الوطن العربي اليوم لا تتعلق فقط بتغيير الأنظمة، بل بتغيير الخرائط الجغرافية-السياسية، وتفكيك الدول، ومحو الهوية الحضارية للأرض لإفساح المجال أمام التشظي والهيمنة. ولذلك، إذ نؤكد على دعمنا لخيار المقاومة، وللقيادة السورية في مواجهة الهجمة، نؤكد بالأساس على دعمنا المطلق للهوية العربية للعراق وسوريا، وللبنان وفلسطين، وبقية الوطن العربي.

The Threats Against Iraq and Syria and the Option of Resistance

As the month of Ramadan comes to an end, the threats on the resistance option in Iraq, Palestine, and Syria are mounting.

The Iraqi Resistance has intensified its activities and has been hastening, with more success every passing day, the US defeat in occupied Iraq. From the beginning, the US-British Imperialists have been planning the destruction of Iraq and its fragmentation. The establishment of a Karzai-like government was only a prelude to civil war. The Iraqi Resistance Report has helped uncover the covert operations put forth by the US-British Imperialist alliance to stir up sectarian strife and produce a civil war in Iraq. These operations are highly classified and evil in their intent aiming at planting explosives in civilian areas in Basra, Baghdad, and elsewhere. Both Shiite and Sunni mosques are blown up to denigrate the valiant work of the Iraqi Resistance and portray it as criminal. These covert operations seek to foment sectarian hatred between Sunnis and Shiites in preparation for a partial prospective US withdrawal from Iraq after leaving the country in shambles and Iraqis divided, while the US maintains firm control of Iraq's resources and geopolitics.

Also, while ninety percent of the Iraq Resistance is led by the Baath, practically most factions of the Iraqi Resistance have emphasized their commitment to liquidating mercenaries and traitors, such as the recruits to the Iraqi military and security structures being established under the occupation. In fact, these structures are meant to liquidate the Iraqi Resistance, block the liberation of Iraq, and oppress the Iraqi people after the US withdrawal and defeat in Iraq. Thus, bombing campaigns and operations by the Iraqi Resistance specifically target Army recruits and traitors.

Furthermore, the Iraqi Resistance has warned all those who take part in the persecution of President Saddam Hussein that they will not be spared and that they should know that American occupiers will not be able to protect them. It’s at a time when President Hussein persecutes and confronts his persecutors that the Iraqi Resistance has intensified its operations, inspired by his selfless example. We hereby salute the valiant resistant stance of President Hussein in his most recent court appearance.

On the Syrian front, the recently released Melhis report has been devoid of any legal or forensic evidence implicating Syria. Yet, that report is being used by US Imperialists and their supporters to target Syria in a vicious propaganda campaign to set the stage for possible attack and occupation, specifically to instigate "regime change" in Syria.

Recently, hundreds of thousands of Syrians went into the streets of major cities to protest the absurd and biased Melhis report. The report also uses the name of Zuhair Saddiq, a Syrian who resided for a while in Lebanon, and a convicted crook, in order to implicate the Syrian government in the assassination of Rafiq Al Hariri.

In fact, the Melhis Report is nothing but a dirty propaganda campaign seeking to incite public opinion against the Syrian government in preparation for what could turn into an aggression and an occupation of Syria. It’s hypocritical that US attention was never turned to the assassination of Eli Hobeika, the Lebanese butcher of Sabra and Shatila in 1982, who was clearly killed by Sharon and his Zionist Mosad agents as Hobeika became a key witness in a court case against Sharon. It’s also interesting that the US government never made a fuss about a recently passed Lebanese law exonerating Samir Geagea who has been serving time for assassinating Rashid Karami, another Sunni Prime Minister of Lebanon!!

We also believe the US plan in Syria may be to induce regime change, which can take place without direct occupation of the country initially. Such regime change can be brought about via comprador and sectarian elements after economic sanctions are imposed and Syria is regionally encircled in an effort to weaken the grip of the Syrian leadership. Currently, the Melhis report is being used to extract concessions from Syria on Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and internally in Syria (under the pretext of ‘democratic reform’). In the medium range, the plan is to change the regime in that country. In the long run, the plan is to set the stage for the break-up of Syria just like the stage was set for the break-up for Iraq. And, just like the case of Iraq, this is being carried out, because it’s in the strategic interest of the Zionists and US Imperialists, not because of any wrongdoing by the leadership in Iraq and Syria.

So, all resistance movements in Lebanon, Palestine and Syria must remain on the alert, as being potentially targeted and as we anticipate "Israel's" covert and possibly overt involvement in the campaign against Syria. In the meantime, we believe Syria's number one priority should be to prepare its citizens for guerilla warfare to simultaneously send a message to US Imperialists that it shall be a burial ground for the invading forces and their local allies.

Since Syria in this fight cannot possibly rely on the support of superpowers and the so-called "International legitimacy," which has become a mere pawn in the hands of the US government, Syria should seek a genuine International alliance with anti-Imperialist forces, such as the DPRK, Venezuela, and Cuba to prepare for a possible aggression by the US. Syria’s salvation, though, will not come from abroad, even from sincere friends, but from its readiness to defend itself by itself. However, the continued success and escalation of the Iraqi and the Palestinian resistance will strongly diminish the chances of a US aggression on Syria.

The options being presented to Syria today are to take the Libyan path of surrendering its arms in order to continue to exist temporarily, or to face imminent destruction in favor of a pro-American government in its place that secures the continued existence of "Israel" in the longer run. But Syria’s survival, both as a state and as a regime, hinges on its adherence to the resistance option, both in Syria and in the Arab context. It really has no option but to choose the path of armed struggle to US imperialism and "Israel," and not to offer concessions especially on its support for the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance that will ultimately be a vital reservoir of martyrdom against an anticipated US aggression. Syria should especially beware that the timing of the trial of President Saddam Hussein was meant as a imperialist message, and that such timing cannot be separated from the timing of the Melhis report.

It is paramount to realize that the Zio-imperialist plan in the Arab World today does not only involve changing regimes. It involves changing geo-political maps, breaking up Arab states, and eradicating the Arab identity of the land to make way for fragmentation and hegemony. Thus, as we reaffirm our support for the option of resistance, and for the Syrian leadership in the face of potential aggression, we reaffirm our utmost support for the Arab identity of Syria and Iraq, of Palestine and Lebanon, and of the rest of the Arab World.
