The Minutemen are really ramping up their media campaign, including a major rally in Sacramento to promote their California Border Patrol initiative, an attempt to further militarize the border and our communities at the cost of more people's lives. Recently, they testified before congress ( http://www.dakotavoice.com/200510/20051018_6.html ) to ask that congres declare a state of emergency along the entire border. Clearly, they want more policing of our lives and communities, they want unrestricted fascism on the border. Still, resistance to the Minutemen ( http://www.deletetheborder.org/ ) has been powerful and is still growing, all across North America.

Here are the phone numbers they're providing for media access in their press advisory. Do you have any interesting ideas for phone jamming? How about txt messaging? Is there an automated way to do it, or is just calling them and giving them a piece of your mind the best strategy? In the past, the imitation factor has been effective, pretending to register as a volunteer. Maybe pretending to set up lots of interviews around town is a good idea. Have fun, and we'll see you in Sacramento on October 29th at 10am to disrupt the Minutemen rally ( http://www.indybay.org/news/2005/10/1774302.php )!

MEDIA ACCESS will be facilitated at the rally and at film showing on Oct. 29.
In the meantime other availabilities can be arranged with participants.

THIS IS ILLEGAL. I'm CONTACTING THE FCC and the FBI immediately! It is illegal to maliciously try to disrupt the communications of other groups or individuals. I hope you all go to jail for trying this.

All of you that know who I am, and where I am should also know that while I have not been publicly active in my home area, I have been quite active here in a less public manner. Deny our free speech rights; Threaten them and follow through; Threaten anyone to deny us a venue......
I have been gathering info here by myself. I will start outing every employer I know in this area who knows or doesn't that he has illegal aliens working there. I will out those individuals who I know have been using false documents and different aliases to work at any business. I will out all of the businesses that I know are operating in an under the table manner (cash payments to workers). This includes all of those who worked here and are now employed elsewhere. This means all of the Canicerias, mercados, Joyerias, Panaderias, and any other related businesses that I have serviced over the past 20 years, new or old. It includes the cabinet shops, home improvement manufacturers, and the contractors
And the day labor center here will become my second priority. All of the contractors that frequent that place who I have been keeping some track of, up to and including the ones that hire there and provide maintainance for public works here in Sacramento. All of the unlicensed contractors, for as long as it takes to make whatever comeuppance I feel necessary for compensation to our free speech venue.
Will one day of our free speech be worth so many incomes, so many livelyhoods, and in several cases, some jail time?
Obviously Sacramento is a big place, and I do not know where all of the bones are buried yet, but I will start planting big red flags everywhere I do
You have the right to free speech so long as it doesn't break the law. Pound the drum; shout your message; write anything you wish that isn't threatening, libelous or copyrighted. But beyond that....well, I've already said...

... go ahead and publish everything you know. By withholding such info you are "aiding and abetting lawbreakers" and have made yourself an accomplice and co-conspirator!!!!

That's right. I know my name. I've stated my name. I stand where I can be seen, heard, and counted.
Unlike those anonymously posting here; Unlike those who would wear masks while making a personal statement. Both of which are little else but graffitti painted under cover of darkness by some skulking prideless prowler. Unlike the many who would wander around this country using the identities of another.

...you are protecting lawbreakers. Thanks to you the employers are still in business. You are no better than the employers or their smugglers.

When you sit alongside me when I do the work;
When its' your fuel, your film, your recorder, your money or your life and liberty at risk; Then I might consider your opinion. Until then, you are just another prank telephone call.
