CINDY SHEEHAN IS HURTING HER CAUSE
Cindy Sheehan has still not replied to the following email which was sent to her directly on September 4th, 2005 as it was also posted in the 'Comments' section of the following URL: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cindy-sheehan/dangerous-incompetence_b_6764.html Here is a copy of the letter: Cindy, I am the Mother of James Morris as we have met in person and have spoken on the telephone as well. I would very much like for you to release your AOL email send history for March 15th, 2005 as it will also show that you sent the 'Nightline' email to my son (which he forwarded to the producers of 'Nightline' on your behalf per your request) which included the PNAC Neocon/war for Israel paragraph that you have since disingenuously denied writing. You also sent the same version of the email to Tony Tersch who posted it on your behalf to the 'Bullyard' Internet bulletin board (access the following URL): http://slate.msn.com/id/2124788/sidebar/2124791/ You smeared my son in order to avoid addressing the truth of the matter. Additional information about such is included at the following URLs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cindy_Sheehan http://representativepress.blogspot.com/2005/08/cindy-sheehan-mother-of-spc-casey.html Alex Howe (who was handling your PR for Fenton Communications as I assume that he still is) was made aware of the request last week. So far there has been no response from him as he told my son that he would convey the request to you. I very much support your cause as I have deep sympathy for the loss of Casey but being truthful (about the 'Nightline' email issue) should have been a priority for you. Sincerely, Georgina Morris

I would like to point out that Mrs. Morris' request (i.e. "release your AOL email send history") would violate the privacy of many dissidents who may have been in communication with Cindy Sheehan. This is something the FBI would love to see happen, as would countless rightwing vigilantes and harassers. I personally request that Cindy Sheehan not release such a list. Furthermore, unless one were to subpeona AOL, one would not know whether any such list was doctored, thereby making it useless anyway.
The simplest solution would be for Nightline to release the email's header and allow the world to inspect the IP trail.

Sheehan's just another Christian who is a little anti-Semitic. I swear, you hang around with enough churchgoers, and before long, a few folks will start with the anti-Israel talk. Too much Christianity gets you all paranoid about other religions. It's absurd. It's like white people who talk like the Democrats are controlled by Jesse Jackson and the Black vote. It's the distortion and myopia of people with the most power, who can't take the guilt building their own security on the insecurity of others.
They're blind to the facts. Israel is America's "attack dog" in the Middle East. They have OUR nukes. They take OUR money to defend OUR interests. They do it OUR way, by colonialism against Arabs.

Being anti Israeli is not being anti Jewish. "Israel" is land theft and genocide. Not all Jewish people think this is just.

Cindy She-Ham as I call her is a grandstander who filled the slow media month of August now that it is September she cant even get arrested as proven yesterday in NYC. She-Ham's problem is that she makes it all about herself and ignores the movement. she is caught up seeing stars and celebrity when she should be getting down and working hard, just another lazy Bee-Atch

I think being anti-Israel does border on racism if you say something along the lines of saying that we're going to war "for Israel." It implies that Israel is directing our foreign policy, which is part of a larger idea, often believed by Americans, of a Jewish conspiracy. It's the more general myth of a privileged minority pulling the strings and screwing the majority out of something.
It rears its ugly head all over -- right now, the svengali peril du-jour is China. Even in Fahrenheit 911, there was a lot of fear about Arabs pulling the strings and influencing the president. As if, somehow, if the elite weren't all colluding with each other, that they would suddenly become friendly to the poor or something.
This particular issue, of going to war "for Israel", borders on racism because it ignores the big picture. Israel isn't there for nothing -- they exist to promote western interests in the Middle East. Some of those interests include being a launching pad for nukes pointed at various targets in the region. It's not about Jews controlling the country... it's about the country using Jews as strongmen in the Middle East. (In exchange, Jews get to join the global white privilege club, at least in some countries.)
This anti-Jewish fear is emboldend by Christianity. It's a pretty common kind of racism. I hear it often enough that it's not shocking.
Also, all the conservatives pillorying her over this issue are disgusting. They all are the freaking fountainhead of the sick paranoia.
