West Covina Peace Vigil note

Relief Supplies Needed
Here For Relocated Families

On Tuesday 9/13//05 one hundred families, victims of the New
Orleans hurricane and flood, are being brought to the city of Bell
to be housed at the Salvation Army center. Volunteers are nee-
ded to help transform one of the warehouses at the center into
habitable living quarters for approximately 400 people. They need
many things that anyone would need in a domestic living situa-
tion. Clothes, toiletries, diapers, formula, toys for kids, food, etc.
etc.

Drop-offs can be made at the Salvation Army Bell Shelter in the city
of Bell. The address is 5600 Rickenbacker Rd. The phone number
is (323) 263-1206.

From the intersection of Bandini and Eastern go south on Eastern,
one street past Rickenbacker Rd., and turn right on Mansfield. Fol-
low Mansfield all the way to the back of the industrial complex to
Bldg. 2 for drop-off of donations and info about volunteering. See
Doug or Rick.
