Liberty Bound Unbound!

Filmmaker Christine Rose has had her share of challenges during the past few years concerning her first film Liberty Bound.

"It's been a long time coming," says Rose, "but I think this film has life in her yet!"

Rose says her first film, although shot before the Iraq War began, still is going strong. Mostly through word of mouth, the orders for DVDs still come two years later for this self-taught filmmaker's first film.

"I thought after the 2004 election people would lose interest in Liberty Bound, but I realize now that it's become a sort of historical document -- and the American People want to hear the facts."

The filmmaker claims that organizations like Democracy Now! and MoveOn.org refused to mention her film while they were promoting other political documentaries like Orwell Rolls in His Grave, Outfoxed, and Bush's Brain.

"Perhaps the objective look into the definition of fascism frightened them. When one says the "F" word, even progressive organizations duck for cover," quips Rose.

Even after begin buried by her fellow politically progressives wasn't enough to stop this "spunky Texan." She's still going strong and finishing up her second film http://www.internationally-speaking.com";>Internationally Speaking, set for release later this year.

Liberty Bound will be shown on Free Speech TV (Dish Network 9415) this Thursday, July 7th at (EST) 2am, 9am, 1:30pm, 4:30pm, 9pm.
