Following an all-night bargaining session, the union and the hotels agreed on a settlement at 5am, Saturday morning.

Sources providing strike support in the Green party quoted Derek Smith, of LAANE:

“The strike is over. There will be no lock out. And they gave us everything that we wanted. They gave us a good contract. They gave us a contract that ended in '06 (to synch up with most other hotel union contracts around the U.S... ensuring that the workers have even greater collective bargaining leverage in the future).”
