Jamie Foxx portrays the true-to-life story of Crips co-founder Stanley "Tookie" Williams in Redemption, based on the life of the San Quentin death row inmate convicted of four counts of murder. Foxx depicts Williams' transformation from gang leaderto childern's book writer and Nobel prize-nominated peace promoter.
