There was one survivor from the attack who was 'taken out and shot'.

US financed atrocities
by Mwywe Lonson

I would like to know how the events shown here are any more horrible than the attacks the US sponsored during the period when Afghanistan was under Communist rule. Airliners were shot down, school teachers who taught girls machine-gunned, grenades thrown at innocent civilians, Afghan government and Soviet troops alike were murdered in cold blood after being captured. The people who did this were praised as freedom fighters and heroes in the US, and one of the idiotic Rambo movies actually featured them. The cheering seemed to die away rather quickly after 9/11.

I guess I spoiled BA's fun. His mom told him he could stay up late tonight and watch Rambo III on a cable station, but now he realizes that this 1988 flick was a pro-Taliban film. This is an even worse shock than finding out that his hero Ronnie Reagan helped finance both the Taliban and Saddam Hussein. Only one thing could be worse than these revelations: Oliver North coming out of the closet and announcing that he is a member of the Man-Boy Love Association.

"I would like to know how the events shown here are any more horrible than the attacks the US sponsored during the period when Afghanistan was under Communist rule."
Well, for one, some of the victims here are Americans. That alone makes it more horrible.
Then again, I'm sure that's just a bonus to you Meyer.
Face it. we are fighting a war against complete and utter animals in Iraq. Lucky for us, they generally target their own side in their terrorist attcks for some bizarre reason. Witness the tens of thousands of "innocent" iraqi civilians killed by suicide bombers and other assorted islamic inventions of murder.
So yes, this is of course a more horrible event in that no islamic savages were harmed.

you can only imagine the chaos if the iraq war didnt happen. Bring out your colouring book, meyer, and start on a clean page(no fully ammoed jungle guerillas reaming donkeys, k?), ..the rest is yours. my colouring book has pictures of sadam continuing his savage dictatorship and the well known consequences to iraqis, the foil-for-fish program enabling him to acquire lethal substances and giving these to terist outfits...On the same page with a different colour scheme theres chirac&other duped euros, and putin still selling guns for oil contracts. Next page..different set of crayons(cheap ones), I had the UNs koffin getting praise from jeankhretien, vicentefox, kimilsunk, and obl for his vision in preventing the war, and in the background there was a HUGE dollar sign covered by a mushroom cloud, and in the background of the background there is an ornate vignette, emblazoned in reddish green of a nondescript communist. How did you do?

Leave it to Bush to take the world's strongest military and get stuck in the tarbaby of Iraq, where US Soldiers have been dying steadily for 2 years at the rate of an average of over 2 each and every day, while iraqis have sufferred fatalities at 10 to 100 times that rate. NO WMD WERE EVER FOUND, even if they were the war was still illegal, violating the UN Charter, also the US Congress failed to formally declare war as specified in the US Constitution, where a 2/3 majority vote is required, instead they let GWB alone decide whether or not Iraq is 'percieved' as a threat and give him 'war powers' and a blank check to pay for it.
Leave it to Bush to offer no tangible exit strategy, instead he offers nebulous visions of a 'secure' and 'democratic' Iraq that 'is at peace with its neighbors'. Guess what ... this will take many years, if it is possible at all, which it might not be. Security? In Iraq? The war in Iraq is just beginning.
.All you Bushlovers should run down to your local recruitment center and sign up, and ask to be sent to Iraq. What's that? You say we aready have an all voluteer army? So you support the war, as long as YOU don't have to fight it. Figures, for cowards like you who send young men and women to die in the sands of Iraq hunting for phantom WMDs and now sticking around until they can create an improbable "security" that will never be acheived until after the invaders are withdrawn.

I once said, "I am a citizen of the world first, and of Greece, second." Why is it worse if Americans die? Are you suggesting that having US citizenship increases the intrinsic value of a human life above the rest of humanity?

"Are you suggesting that having US citizenship increases the intrinsic value of a human life above the rest of humanity?"
In most cases, yes. There are , however, many American scumbags who hardly rate concern.

"The most tiresome thing in the world is the argument that this war was undertaken for the Iraqis."
It absolutely wasn't. That the Iraqis are and will undoubtedly benifit from it is beside the point.
The war was undertaken as a long overdue response to the global plaque of islam.
Iraq was simply a convenient place for us to touch down in that miserable part of the world.
