The Bush Administration has begun a massive assault on the rights of federal government workers. Recently, the Dept. of Homeland Security issued new regulations which strip meaningful collective bargaining and civil service rights from over 110,000 civilian employees. There a plans to extend these new
regulations to all civilian federal government workers. The Dept of Defense which has 700,000 civilian workers is next on the hit list.
