Spark: Movie Showing and Discussion at UCLA

Out of the urban rebellions of the 1960s, the Black Panther Party was born. This period of urban upsurge ended in 1971 with a rebellion of prisoners in Attica, New York, where inmates took over part of the jail.

A video called "Eyes on the Prize: A Nation of Laws 1968-1971" will be shown. After the movie, there will be a discussion led by Spark, a revolutionary socialist group. Everyone is welcome.

Wednesday, Feb. 2, 7 PM, UCLA, Kerckhoff 135
