Three events that counter the notion of pilgrim plundering.

Greetings Relatives,
I hope this email finds you and yours with good health, help, and happiness. Today this country considers to take one little day out of the year to give thanks, although my elders say "everyday is a good day to do so". Despite the fact that the origins of this holiday is marked with the blood of our Iroquois ancestors and currently stained with the blood of innocent victims of war in Iraq and Afghanistan, I hope we will all still take a moment and acknowledge all the beautiful blessings we do have in our lives. Furthermore, I suggest we pray for peace, better understanding of each other, and the healing of our environment.
With that said, I have listed three events happening this weekend (starting today) that you can get a different perspective on the glorification of past and present pilgrim piledging and plunder.
