George Bush Not a Christian Fanatic, Not a Christian -- Just Evil

We must remember that the states marked scarlet on the electoral map did not unanimously vote for Bush. Ohio, for one, could be colored blue if an honest election were held. This article from a Southern newspaper explains that war, especially the war against the Iraqi people, is not Christian. Bush simply lies. Some of our best antiwar allies will be in red states.

George Bush's aggression against the Iraqi people is contrary to the Christian principles he hides behind. He is a big fat faker on religion just as on everything else.

Before I quote the article from a Southern newspaper, I remind you to think about what you learned in Sunday School and church. Remember that when the Samaritans refused to sell food and water to Jesus and the disciples, He told the disciples that they must not ask God to rain fire down upon the Samaritans.

George Bush is just another evil person, but one who happens to have acquired the presidency.

When Christians learn the real nature of Bush, then we antiwar people will have found some true allies.

I quote from the article, for educational purposes only:
================

The Bible is clear about killing. Nowhere does it condone starting an unjust war that costs the lives of thousands of American soldiers and Iraqi civilians.

It is also clear about revenge. Revenge does not belong to Christians or to a president who says, "He (Saddam) tried to kill my dad!"

Actions always speak more accurately than words. What has the president done to promote family values or education?

The events of 9/11 were a crime and should have been dealt with as such. We didn't roll out tanks and bombers after the Oklahoma City bombing, yet the guilty were brought to justice. Mr. Bush is the one who labeled 9/11 an act of war.

In his book, "Crusade," the columnist James Carroll states that Mr. Bush refers to the war on terrorism as a crusade. Even after much back-pedaling by his handlers, the word still pops up.

Translated to Arabic, the word "crusade" means "war of the cross." It is no surprise that Arabs from all parts of the Middle East are going to Iraq to resist what they understand to be this 21st-century crusade.
