I was born in a midwestern town…into a hard working blue collar, middle class family. I went to church and was taught right from wrong. I went to college and learned to learn…I even got got a piece of paper that shows I am officially smart! Huh? Then why does the government think I am so stupid as to believe the lies they are telling, especially when they are so blatant. Are we really this stupid? Are we really the sheep the government believes us to be?
The thing that is frustrating is that even though the truth is right in front of our eyes, but the presence of fear keeps most people from taking action. Don’t you think it is time we rise above our fears and really look at the REALITY of what is happening. C’mon, we’re all smart people here. Tell me honestly, if you ran you company the way GW is running the corporation of the US, would you have your job? No…then why is he allowed to make so many mistakes and continue to lead? And why do so many believe he is doing a great job?
What concerns me goes deeper though. Throughout history we know about civilization after dynasty’s that have collapsed. All because of greed… Can we not see that we are making the same mistakes of the past? This is a time to make a change. We need to wake up! The record keeps skipping and we need to get into a different groove.
Here’s something I don’t understand. I went to church and believe in God as GW does in his claims of being a Christian. But last time I checked, God seems to have a commandment against murder, so how could he send soldiers to kill other human beings? As the God fearing man he professes to be, how could he not exercise all possible means of a peaceful resolution? We know the difference between right and wrong. This isn’t how people behave.
How many families are willing to send their son or daughter to war if a draft occurs? Oh no, the dreaded “D” word. Look at the reality. A war needs soldiers. We plan on being there a while. Our soldiers are being killed. The replacements have to come from somewhere. Some people say, that the bill to reinstate the draft was already signed in secret. If this is true then GW will have lied when he looked into the camera and said there would be no draft. Some people also say, that the problems we are having now in Iraq could have been avoided if we took action in the past. Perhaps the same can be said of this situation. Perhaps we can avoid a great disaster if we open our eyes now! What do you think?
Here’s something interesting to know. Did you realize that one of the cards in the tarot deck is the tower, which is a picture of a tall building by the sea, that was struck by something from the sky and was now on fire, with people jumping out. This image was drawn a long time ago…yet funny how it resembles the WTC incident, isn’t it? This card in tarot means awakening to false truths. It is associated to the planet Mars…the god of War or the secret lover of Venus, depending on how you choose to channel the energy. Ancient wisdom is asking us to wake up!
You may not believe this but all we have to do is pay attention... The signs are all around us!
The roman’s coined a phrase “Bread and Circus” Give the people something to eat (a chick in every pot)…Give the people something to watch (War on Terror) and they will be too distracted to know what is happening behind the scenes (Oil, Money, Greed). All that is need is the media to spread the lies and the brainwashing takes hold.
WAKE UP!!! Are we the dumbest Americans yet or what? Have we become what the forefathers meant for us to become? I love this country and the people the people that live here, but I don’t agree with our leaders, I don’t believe they uphold or represent anything about what our forefathers intended! You see, the forefathers I learned about were independent…they were revolutionaries. They believed people had the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. They drafted a constitution that gave Power To The People! Not to the government. They stood up to the lies and believed in what they knew to be right. We know what is right but sometimes we turn a blind eye, even when we know we shouldn’t. Can we afford to turn a blind eye any more? Doesn’t seem we can, that is if we really don’t want to be another civilization that collapses!
So, Tuesday is the big day. Time to choose between the lesser of 2 evils. The rest of the world must be laughing at us silly, dumb Americans. If the lesser of 2 evils id the best we are capable of producing, with all of our available intelligence, then we really are stupid and deserve exactly what we get. Wouldn’t it be awesome though, if we could choose between the best of 2 goods?
Shouldn’t our leader be the best we’ve got? Well, whatever happens, times they are a changing.
