I saw Eminem's new Anti-War, Anti-Bush, Pro-Revolution "Mosh" video last night on MTV. This is some powerful stuff that needs to be seen. The worry is how much longer MTV (owned by Viacom and the Pro-Bush, Pro-Business Sumner Redstone) will continue to show this video. Here's an article on the video from MTV's website:

http://www.gnn.tv/content/eminem_mosh.html Total Request Live (TRL) is a by request daily show on MTV (Yes this is the same TRL that gave Code Pink a hard time last week). Vote (as many times as you want!) on their online poll to request 'Mosh':

This is a guy who's a record company puppet to sell rap to white kids. He's a violent guy. He's homophobic.
He recently did a movie, 8 Mile, that people took to be his biography. In fact, it was more like a paen to him, because it made him look like a decent guy being screwed over... when in fact, it's often him instigating the conflicts.
It's great that he's got this anti-war message, but, it ranks up there with Vote or Die in it's nearly cynical appropriation of politics. Make politics popular, don't make the popular political.
