October 16th, on the same day and about the same time two protest marches, about immigrant right issues, took place in East Los Angeles and Downtown Los Angeles. There were also two separate rallies at the end of each march one block apart from each other. The organizers of the two events reportedly couldn’t reach an agreement to merge into a massive march and a rally because of differences, surprisingly. Indeed, how can two identical protests about the same issues be different? May be that’s another example of ego from the part of the ”leaders ”-- I suspect. Considering that some unions leaders were involved in the negotiations to build a coalition , the result shouldn’t surprise me. After all those so called “union leaders” have a long history of dividing the people whom they are supposed to serve.

Below find 18 images about both marches and rallies.
