This is a picture of the Arlington West Project at the Santa Monica Pier put up every Sunday by the Veterans for Peace. There is a documentary of interviews taken at the site called "Arlington West". See the KPFK radio web site for places and times. Everyone should see the display. I have heard several of the recorded interviews on the radio and they are interesting and surprising. There is a picture of every soldier that was killed in Iraq and a short paragraph of how he died. I was quite surprised to find how much emotion I experienced by just visiting the site. I could also sense that others were experiencing similar feelings. The documentary is being targeted at high school students in order they might have a feeling for what war is like before they join the military.
