NEW YORK — A protester was removed from the Republican National Convention after starting to heckle President Bush during his speech.

Delegates tried to drown out the protester with chants of "four more years."

That organization has staged or participated in several protests this week in New York, including Sunday's protest that drew hundreds of thousands of people. "

Here's a good article from the SF Chronicle. The writer was sitting right next to June and gives a detailed report.

Hurray for June Brashares and Jody Evans!

What's the difference?

by bov Tuesday, Sep. 07, 2004 at 4:51 AM

So she wants to replace the fascist Bush with the fascist Kerry. And how exactly is this going to help us break free from this police state?

She didn't.

by bov Tuesday, Sep. 07, 2004 at 10:10 AM

And that's not the point. It's either going to be Bush or Kerry come this November. Giving Bush the "pink slip" is automatically hiring Kerry. She needed to give both of them the "pink slip". We need to give all of them the "pink slip".
