Sherman Austin is out of prison and has been moved to an LA halfway house, where he will begin his three years of federal probation under the watchful eye of the U.S. federal government.

Sherman Austin has been released into the custody of a Los Angeles halfway home, where he will begin his three years of federal probation. He will not be allowed to return to his home until the end of August.

The terms of his probation are a continuing attempt to keep Sherman away from anything that might allow him to exercise his right to organize with political groups that he identifies with, in addition to opening him up to further intense monitoring by the federal government. Every phone, computer or other digital device he comes in contact with will only be under the strict supervision of his probation officers and the government.
