Sure he was elected. And DU is harmless when inhaled or injested and the torture or prisoners is 'standard seer stuff' so it's okay.
And freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength as well as war being peace.

He lost the popular vote.

The votes in Florida were contested. Ballots were lost, and African Americans were disenfranchised. The election was close, but the Republicans, who dominated the government in Florida, pushed against a full recount. Gore didn't fight hard to demand one either.

The Supreme Court decided that the votes were valid, in effect, selecting Bush as President.

This is what history will say about the election of 2000.

What's passed is past; just learn from history. A forfeit is the same as a loss. Democrats who accuse Bush of "stealing" the election should really point the finger at the Democrats, who didn't show up to fight for it. When the Democrats see their progressive wing slipping away to Nader/Camejo, they shouldn't blame us, but blame the assholes who ripped at Howard Dean, and the jerks who came up with the Kucinich new-age strategy to keep progressive support.

One.

Just. Find. One.

ONE.

ONE credible source anywhere that says that Al Gore would have won the third (yes third) recount in Florida. Furthermore, what you meant to say wasn't "Gore didn't push hard for (a full recount)" What you meant to say is that it was Gore who demanded a PARTIAL recount in preponderously Democratic counties.

Oh, and do you have a working understanding of how we elect chief executives in this country? The fact that the President garnered 500,000 fewer votes than his opponent is immaterial. He won the electoral college.

But please. Prove me wrong. One.

Just One.

One.

Traitor?
Liar?
Coward?
Bucket of Slime?

Can you substantiate any of these slanderous accusations?

I would gladly put my record of patriotism, veracity, bravery, and non-sliminess up against yours any day, my poor brain damaged friend.

I am heartened, however, by your disdain for trial lawyers. So I take it you won't be voting for Kerry - Edwards? Excellent.

Really, such language.

quid pro quo
by sore losers, ha ha Wednesday, Jul. 14, 2004 at 3:49 PM

The Supreme Court put a stop to the illegal recounts approved by the Florida Supreme Court (all democraps) and for that, liberals whine.

Mythical "disenfranchised" Black votes are thrown out, while thousands of military ballots are atttempted to be blocked by Gore.

Also, a special, "Fuck You" to anyone who did not vote in 2000 yet complains now.
