This month marks the creation of our first "Forest Rescue Station" in the United States. This rescue station, in the heart of the Siskiyou Wild Rivers area of Southern Oregon, is a hub for our efforts to protect and restore not only the forests of the Klamath-Siskiyou ecoregion, but all of our public lands. We are calling for an immediate moratorium on commercial logging.
Our solar-powered facility, consisting of several giant domes, will bring together local forest advocates, ecologists, activists and concerned citizens. We are hosting workshops, demonstrations and wilderness hikes to help promote lasting solutions to protect our natural heritage.
Join us in the Pacific Northwest as we exercise our constitutional right to defend wild rivers, forest ecosystems and local economies from the Bush administration's assault on Oregon's future!
