As a student at Temple University in Philadelphia, Karen Pomer produced and directed a film project about some of her neighbors in Powellton Village - a 'family' called MOVE. This undertaking resulted in the documentary MOVE: Confrontation in Philadelphia, the story of the 1978 police 'shoot-out' with MOVE. Filmed during the actual siege of the MOVE home in Powellton Village by Philadelphia police, the documentary won national acclaim and awards including the Blue Ribbon at the American Film Festival.

Cool Movie

I liked the movie. If you want a copy, the Anarchist Black Cross Federation sells it, and gives the money to MOVE so they can free the MOVE 9, wrongfully imprisoned for life.
