Speakers

Sonali Kolhatkar is co-director and one of the founders of Afghan Women's

Mission. Her show, Uprising, airs 8am weekday mornings on KPFK. She

speaks frequently about the situation in Afghanistan and has written many

articles regarding American foreign policy in Afghanistan.

Medea Benjamin is founding director of Global Exchange and co-founder of

Code Pink. She is a leading activist in the peace movement and has

struggled for social justice in Asia, the Americas, and Africa for over 20

years. She has traveled to Iraq many times to organize the Occupation

Watch International Center.
