How is the naked bike ride in LA coming along?

We lack a firm foundation within our society for the protection of the humane treatment of animals, namely: the animal nature within each and every human. We protect the interests of religion in this country (USA), but we do not protect our various cultures from the encroachment of government, religion, business, and the family. To that end, we nudists stand in defiance of every influence which seeks to whittle away our right and privilege to bare all to the all-encompassing as our cultural heritage. We are not a religion. We are not a diety. We are not a special interest group. We are not a binding arbitration among business and governmental interests. We are not even a member of any one family, nor are we citizens of the family of mankind. We are practicing our culture within the confines of our society and remain firmly and steadfastly certain of the outcome: we will prevail, even if we have to stumble and fail to prove it.
Update for the World Naked Bike Ride of Los Angeles
(Thursday, 6 May, 2004)
We currently have 23 riders signed up with 4 escorts, 3 of which are our photographers. Our cause has appeared on the Keven and Bean Show at KROQ, 106.7 FM, NightCalls on Playboy (Satellite) Radio (premium channel 205; call-in phone# 1 (800) 359-8100), and was published on 3 May, 2004 in the Daily Sundial, the campus newspaper of California State University at Northridge.
Our 9½ mile long route takes 1¼ hours to ride at a leisurely pace and loops through Hollywood beginning and ending at Hollywood Blvd. and Vine St.. We will meet at the south-west corner parking lot at Hollywood Blvd. and Argyle Ave. just south of the MTA station there at 11:30 AM, 12 June, 2004 and begin our ride at High Noon. We will pass through the council districts of: John Garcetti, Jack Weiss, and Martin Ludlow who have all been forewarned of our intentions --- to ride bare as we dare to protest our dependency on oil.
Come join us and tell every newspaper, television, radio, and magazine reporter that you can think of to be at this event. The more people and media who show up, the less likely will the police give us any hassles. Let's make this an international spectacle!
