Tre's next hearing in Tueday, May 11th, to establish if he is admissible to Canada, an innital step in his application for refugee status.
He needs our pressence, our prayers, and funding for his attorneys.
I just got off the phone with Tre: First off he wanted me to let everyone know how deeply grateful he is for all your hard work, love and support. Our Light, prayers and love pierce the jail walls and sustain him, and he is more grateful than he knows how to say. He wants you all to know how much your support means to him
Tre needs three things:
1)He needs folks to be present, in person or in spirit, for his hearing on the 11th, if you can not be present in body, pleases, please focus your intention that he a) be found admissible to Canada(he must first be found admissible to Canada before he can proceed with his refugee application)and b) that he be awarded bail. Our intentions do more good than we know, please hold Tre in the Light, and focus your energy on his being found admissable, and his being awarded bail.
2) He needs licenced, professional medical practitioners as resources for his attorney, who is working to get him the raw food he needs. At this time Tre is asking that we send all information and referrals to his lawyer, and not address the jail directly at this time. Rudolf J. Kischer www.embarkationlaw.com
3)He hates to ask, but he needs funding. His attorneys have been working tierlessly, dedicatedly, for next to nothing for over a month, we will need a phenomenal amount of money to adequately defend him against the charges he is facing (the current estimate is $25,000). If everyone who cares about Tre or recognizes the importance of this case gives $25 we will be well on our way! If you can only do $5 thats great too!
I can not emphasise enough that this case is not just about an attempt to silence one activist, it is part of an attempt to silence us all. Justice demands a voice, for where decent is a crime democracy is dead. We must stand together in solidarity if any of us ~or the Earth~ is to have even a shred of hope.

people fight for the rights of trees before they fight for the rights of humans.

Fallacy: ignoring the obvious fact that many people are fighting for the rights of trees, animals, people, the ozone layer and the oceans all at the same time. Here's a little-known fact: the world is one big fucking ecosystem, and these causes are not mutually exclusive. In fact, we will almost certainly die out in the near future if we do not find ways to address all of them in a unitive framework.
Here, I'll fill in the follow-up post for the baiters:
>"Oh, sure, you liberal armchair politicians go on about how "we're all one" while all you're doing is smoking a joint and visualizing saving the whales. Where do you think we get the wood to build our homes, moron? Home depot, which uses old-growth wood. Unless you want to be a hobo as well as a pathetic Commie, you'd better get with the program and support America's logging industry. Commie."
Wow, that was easier than thinking! I wish I had found out about this years ago--here I've been, wasting my time looking for reciprocal communication.

I watched a fascinating show about the methods of earth & straw brick building used in Iran. Fires were built inside the structure to fuse the material into a bisk. Solar heat, concentrated into a furnace could fire the bricks. We are clever monkeys when we chose to be.

If we use too much solar energy then we'll deplete the sun!!! And we're really screwed then. ...anyway... Passive solar is overlooked alot compared to pvsolar designs, but it's the best value for the buck. You can set it up for heating and cooling. Save even more if you can handle saws&hammers, etc.
