Amy shines.

She is a heroine. E. Timor remembers her.

E Timor was the only good thing Amy ever did

by Amy is a cheerleader for Bin Laden Sunday, Apr. 25, 2004 at 4:53 AM

The only reason Amy covered E Timor is because she got beat up during a demonstration when some demonstrators got shot. Indonesia has a Muslim government and Amy is on the Muslim's payroll bigtime. How she reconciled exposing the E Timor stuff and managed to stay on their payroll is anybody's guess. The fact that someone does something halfway decent does not make them heroes. Hitler was nice to his dog. Hitler was a vegetarian. But he was not a nice person. Amy exposed some stuff about E Timor. It would have come out anyway. But the fact that she did one good thing in a life full of lies, misrepresentations, distortions, and twisted reporting does not make her a good person and it does not make her an honest person. She is a scumbag.

Amy Goodman and the Santa Cruz massacre

by seer Sunday, Apr. 25, 2004 at 10:46 AM

Amy Goodman and Alan Nairn were in the crowd closest to the soldiers as they arrived, lined up, and opened up with automatic fire directly into the crowd.

E. Timor was a Catholic nation invaded by an Indonesian, US backed military.

Another war crime by Kissinger as 1/3 of the population was killed.

by Barney Sunday, Apr. 25, 2004 at 10:27 PM

The Timorese made the mistake of turning to communism, which if course, is no solution at all. Id East Timor had turned communist it would be in a far worse state than it is today.

Indonesia was our ally against the Soviets, some little people got squished. I blame the Russians. Life under communism is no life at all. If a man can't speak his mind he may as well be dead.

Hey Barney could you support that opinion with links or references?

Thanks in advance.

There are large oil and gas fields off the East Timor shores. Communism?

Ha Ha. A nation of Catholics? Ha ha ha ha....

Using the term communist seems to be a free ticket for mass murder whether it is the massacre of a million Chinese in Indonesia or two million Vietnamese or uncounted indigenous Indians in South America. When 'Barney' or his like minded ilk see a government or movement or culture that inhibits the extraction of other peoples resources or commandeering their land or labor, the term communist was always used. It does ring hollow now with the demise of the Soviet Union but these poisonous minds like to find any justification for crimes of such horrific nature that the reasonable mind and heart becomes sick at their magnitude and unthinkable evil. It's the same idea that has aways held other people's blood and pain in blythe contempt. Now the term is terrorist. Before it was just savages.

I pray that there is a hell.

And you're heading straight for it, you an meyer and all the other Liberal bullies who are cheering on the Baathists in Iraq. You are one sick puppy.

I suppose you would have preferred a world ruled by the Soviets?

amy compared to hitler?

by more rational Monday, Apr. 26, 2004 at 7:39 PM

I thought I'd heard everything.

What kind of drugs are you taking that cause you to see all people you disagree with as kin to Hitler? Because I want some. I want to walk down the street with that hallucination. I want to see random people's faces turn into Hitler's, and see their gait turn into goose steps.

Or does anyone else read Barney/fresca and think, 'christ, what an imbecile'? I mean except Bush Admirer.

Are not fit to clean Amy's shoes. She stands for what is positive in life - justice, freedom, ending poverty, resisitng arbirtrary authority. They stand for fascism, racism, war, the rights of the rich to plunder everyone else, and ignorant, narrow-minded provincialism. Oh, and did I forget 7th grade moronic machismo?
