Freedom

by Sean Brown Wednesday, Nov. 02, 2005 at 4:25 PM

Do you not get it? It is a war. These people are dying so that the people of Iraq can have the same freedoms that you are expressing right now that allow you to bash a president that cares for human life. In Iraq, this image would either have you rotting in a cell or dead by execution. Is that what you wish upon other people? As an American I believe in freedom, I believe in my country and therefore I support our president. Stand behind him and stand beside what this country stands for. Stand behind the United States and honor the faces that appear in your picture by remembering them in a positive light, they died for freedom.

Agreed

by libertarian Wednesday, Nov. 02, 2005 at 5:04 PM

I agree Mr. Brown. But don't bother wasting time explaining these things to the emotionally and intellectually stunted high schoolers that live on this and other Indymedia sites

You asked if they 'get it'. The answer is NO, they don't. They never will for a variety of reasons.

what/

by kidding me Wednesday, Nov. 02, 2005 at 5:21 PM

You're right about that.
Only a moron would think occupying a country and killing their citizens and torturing them for a pack of lies is freedom.
I think you freepers should stay in idiotland and not try to swim in the deep end of the mental pool. You look silly in your water wings of ignorance.

War is a Racket

Surely you jest. Our kids are not dying for anything resembling freedom in this illegal unconstitutional war. This was a war about the same old themes upon which all wars are based:

1. Money

2. Power

As was stated by Maj. Gen. Smedley Darlington Butler Commandant of the USMC Ret. Medal of Honor (TWO Citations):

"WAR IS A RACKET."

There is nothing moral or just in the invasion and conquest of Iraq; just a lot of dead people.

common enemies

by Sure nuff Monday, Nov. 07, 2005 at 8:53 AM

Like liars and chicken hawks who sit, unelected through vote fraud in the people's house.
At least BA is now sourcing the origins of his LIMBAUGH isms instead of outright plagiarism as is his usual practice.
Still a load of unsupportable dreck.
