Hundreds of trade unionists, members of U.S. Labor Against the War, march together in solidarity to demand "Money for jobs and education! End the Occupation!"

This year's California Federation of Teachers (CFT) Annual Convention was held from March 19-21 at the Sheraton Universal Studios. The CFT was the first union in the U.S. to pass a resolution against the war on Iraq, and is one of the strongest supporters of the organization, U.S.Labor Against the War (USLAW) . Members of various CFT locals, including Berkley, Oakland, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, and Newport-Mesa Federation of Teachers, marched behind the USLAW banner along with other unions including Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and musicians from the Entertainers Union. United Teachers Los Angeles, which has a strong socialist contingency, carried signs printed by the International Socialst Organization that read "Money for jobs and education. End the occupation!"
