March 14, 2004 *---Iraqi Resistance Solidarity Network* www.geocities.com/iraqiresistancesolidarity/DefendAIC Following the recent Madrid Bombings, imperialism has again showed its ugly head using the attacks not only for the demonization of the Arab and Basque People, but to attack the Anti-Imperialist Camp, blaming the attack on an *"international holding of terror composed of Al-Qaida, ETA, the self-styled ‘Iraqi resistance’ and the Spanish section of the Anti-imperialist Camp”. For those of you in the US who are unaware, the Anti-imperialist Camp, www.antiimperialista.org* ,has been facing increased scapegoating and repression because of its ability to organize Pro-Iraqi Resistance Demonstrations, it continuous co-ordination with a large spectrum of Iraqi Resistance Forces, and its heroic vanguard role in a "10 Euros Campaign" to finance the Iraqi Resistance. The Iraqi Resistance Solidarity Network has already made clear its support for this campaign to support the Liberation of Iraq from Imperialist/Zionist Occupation designs. For those of you who wish to learn more, or wish to finance the resistance, the Article can be found at http://www.geocities.com/iraqiresistancesolidarity/10euros.html With efforts from our Comrades in the AIC, the Iraqi Resistance Solidarity Network, and the Anti-Imperialist Solidarity Committe (USA) have been able to provide the US Anti-Imperialist Popular Forces with a direct conduit to the leadership of the Resistance via the Iraqi Patriotic Alliance. For those of us in the Anti-US/Anti-Zionist Camp, it is without a doubt, that we are on the side of Iraq, Palestine, and Afghanistan for the MILITARY/Political Defeat of Imperialism and Zionism. For this reasons principled international groups Like the Anti-imperialist Camp, must be defended against repression, regardless of what ideological differances emerge. BODY BAGS FOR OCCUPATION TROOPS! As anti-imperialists we differenciate between the defensive pro-active violence of the oppressed, and the offensive reactionary violence of the oppressor. We also differenciate between "terrorism" and principled armed resistance. It is without a doubt, that the people of Iraq, and their resistance, primarily armed resistance are resisting unprovoked acts of aggression, and as such deserve the full support of popular forces, including comrades in the US. All forces attached to the Occupation appartus are part of the "common hated enemy", and valid military targets. Furthermore, the liberation of Iraq, will not come about without "GI's coming home in a body bag". This is not anything extreme. This is objective reality. We must reject support for all US Troops, particularly those on foreign soil, up until the moment they on some level resist being the direct and hired guns of the Imperialist/Zionist Occupation in particular, and world reaction in general. Finding Groups like the Anti-Imperialist Camp in the Imperialist Countries, which concretely stand with Anti-Imperialist resistance forces is rare, and such comrades must be defended! On March 19th we will be hosting "An Event in Solidarity With Anti-Occupation Resistance" at 7 pm located at 1914 East Burnside Portland, Oregon, USA. The event will feature statements from the Iraqi Patriotic Alliance, National Democratic Front of South Korea Mission in Pyongyang ( in support of the resistance and against the use of Koreans as occupation forces in Iraq), a study course on the Original Palestinian Charter (discussing the validity of armed resistance and calling for rejecting "israel's" right to exist. Due to the seriousness of this issue and the need for mutual defense amongst all pro-resistance quarters around the world, we will be updating our collegues on the seriousness of this matter.
