Supporters of the democratically elected President Jean-Bertrand Aristide yell insults at U.S. occupation troops during a demonstration in Port-au-Prince March 8, 2004. The hold up their open hands to display five fingers... a reference to the Presidents five year term, interrupted when U.S. troops kidnapped Aristide and flew him out of Haiti.

Meanwhile, a new puppet "President" was hoisted upon Haiti on the points of U.S. bayonets. Boniface Alexandre, the supreme court chief, was sworn in behind closed doors at the Presidential Palace under heavy U.S. guard. The "inauguration" took place with U.S. helicopters flying above the Palace. Pacifica Radio's Amy Goodman interviewed President Aristide on Monday morning, and Aristide called upon Haitians to "peacefully resist the U.S. occupation." He repeated that he had been kidnapped by U.S. forces, was still the legal President, and that he had not resigned.

Is that what that means? I thought they were going for an inbound pass.

Amy Goodman didn't interview Aristide. She coached him in an effort to put a negative spin on the liberation of Haiti. She's a female jerk.

I'd like to see some proof that Aristide was coached by Goodman. Please. Fuck off.

We know what happened and it was just a business deal. Same as the last time the Haitian people voted for Aristide and land reform and disbanding the death squads which are now back. We smacked them down good then and blockaded needed supplies. Poor people are suffering from hard sanctions and the IMF forced on them at gunpoint when we kidnapped him the FIRST time...under Clinton. Ahh Clinton, he was a good Nazi but you never forgave the people for voting in someone who ran as a liberal. The parasites at the top hate demobracy.

Amy asks one leading question after another. That's coaching.

Enough with all this haiti nonsense.
The place is and always has been and always will be a backwards ass shithole full of people fleeing from zombies.
To try and pretend that there's some sort of machinations designed to keep a would be worthwhile society down is ludicrous.
Haiti makes Mexico look cutting edge.

you really should be ashamed of your racist and hateful attitudes. I picture a quadriplegic with a voice recognition program attacking the world through their bitter fantasys of violence. At times the glucose/saline mix seems to get a bit low...

One or two fully loaded B-52's should solve the problem once and for all. We also need to mine thier harbor(s) to stop those useless refugees from escaping. The ones already here should be given a nice jacket and flown, free of charge, to northern Greenland. Greenland needs more racial diversity anyway.

Why does a simple observation of an obvious fact threaten you so much?
There's no hate here. Just common sense. Haiti is an utter flop.
