Charles Lewis, author of "The Buying of the President 2004" and Executive Director of the Center for Public Integrity will speak with Arianna Huffington Friday March 5 in Los Angeles, to benefit KPFK radio.
Charles Lewis, author of "The Buying of the President 2004" and Executive Director of the Center for Public Integrity will speak with Arianna Huffington Friday March 5 in Los Angeles, to benefit KPFK radio.
Lewis's site www.publicintegrity.org employs 40 full-time investigative journalists working purely in the public interest without the time or political limitations of mainstream media, and with adequate funding to undertake long-term, large-scale projects on issues like the contracts for the Iraq war, FCC regulation and media ownership, and the USAPATRIOT Act.
The event will take place at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles at 3300 Wilshire Blvd, and will start at 7:00 pm. All proceeds will benefit KPFK radio.
